If you do watch a game instead of just the Gianni's highlights, you will be amazed by some of the defensive rotations. Stupefying.

I'm still amazed that Gianni's is putting up the numbers he is. The guy still has no outside shot...a testament to his work ethic and ability to work inside. If he ever gets his shot going he will be even more amazing.

He's posterized more guys this year than any other Bucks player I've ever seen (and I've been watching at least a few games a year since 1975 - so I don't remember Kareem well).

If he ever develops a 3 point shot, he could average 40 a game. The defender has to play so far off of him because his first step seems to be about twice as long as a normal player and if they body him up he gets by too quickly.

It's hard to find a comparable previous NBA player. A much better version of James Worthy?

Giannis seems to have a play or two each game where it looks like he is fully extended and then seems to just lift his arm two feet higher and go over everyone. It's like watching Inspector Gadget play basketball.

He's a very unique player that's for sure.

As someone that got to see Kevin Garnett in his prime there are a lot of similarities especially his ability to finish around the rim and contest shots.  It took KG a while to refine his jump shot but he got very good at the midrange jumper and so can Giannis.

The big difference is Giannis attacks the rim a lot like Westbrook or LeBron - two guys that actually play outside of the realm of what could be defined as their natural positions.

Giannis is better and longer, but I agree a good comp. Always thought Worthy was somewhat of a forgotten man on those teams.

Which was funny in retrospect given that Worthy was the best player on the North Carolina national championship team that also included Sam Perkins and Michael Jordan.
