Finally it to see the bucks on tv last night and here are my impressions
The alphabet rookie was awesome to watch. Fundamentally sound. Hustles all the time. Extremely athletic. Awesome potential
Ok mayo is a bum. He is 10 pounds over weight. He ha terrible body language. All he cares about is shooting. They have there more seasons and 30 million with this bum?
Sanders tries extremely haft but is one dimensional effort player. He I paid like a star but is not a star
I see now why Henson doesn't tg a lo of minutes. He is very one dimensional as well but is young and will improve when he geta stronger
Middleton is fun to watch. Plays very hard
Ersan has no conidence left and is nothin more than a chucker. Terrible body language too.
Butler and luke are washed up
Knight plays hard but is really nothing more than a backup. He is not a starter.
Young team which will be better when they get on of the top four picks next yeAr. Too bad we are stuck with that bum mayo

It might be the Bucks homer in me, but I like how things are shaping up with this team.

The alphabet rookie is a fascinating prospect.   He's got freakish athleticism and he does play hard.  He's also signed for basically peanuts for the next 3 years.

I also like Knight and Henson.   Both guys have good potential but Henson needs to hit the weight room and Knight needs to play more like a PG and less like a SG but he's a starting level guard in this league.   The good news is neither guy is costing them a lot of money.

Middleton is a really intriguing guy as well.  I'll admit I knew nothing about this guy but he's played pretty well.

Not really worried at all about Ridnour or Butler because they are only signed this year and might be trade bait for all we know.   To a lesser extent it's the same thing with OJ Mayo.   He's on the hook for 2 more years @ $8MM per and if a team wanted him I'd deal him.   Udoh is kind of an odd fit as well so they might trade him.  Delfino won't play this year so I'm not really worried about him and Zaza is Zaza- a high effort guy that will rebound but basically a backup at this point.

Ersan and Sanders are the ones they need to watch because both guys are signed long term and they need to perform.   If they take this year off I'm fine with it because that will lead them to the promised land (hopefully a Top 3 overall pick in the lottery).

You can certainly build a team around Knight, Middleton, Henson, Sanders, and the alphabet kid.   I also think Ersan can have value off the bench although he's making a lot of jack for a bench guy.

You add one of the young studs in next year's draft and make a few deals and all of a sudden this team doesn't look so bad.   It's looking more and more that the top 4 guys in the draft (Wiggins, Parker, Embiid, and Randle) are all #1 overall pick type prospects and they'd all fill a need with Milwaukee.   At this point, Parker is the guy I'd really want but I'd be good with any of those four guys.   Randle reminds me a lot of a slightly smaller KG and Embiid is drawing some comparisons to Hakeem.

Wiggins is lacking the killer instinct and motivation and that would concern me because we've seen this before with younger guys entering the league - Jermaine O Neal and Tracy McGrady come to mind.   Both pretty good players in their prime but not difference makers like you mentioned (Kobe Bryant).    At the end of the day I wouldn't be upset if they ended up with Wiggins but like you said MC I'd rather have Parker.  Heck, I might even rather have Randle or Embiid - two big men with immense talent and upside.
