Regardless of this series the Pacers aren’t going anywhere in round 2. From the looks of it Dame is hurt. He couldn’t move around at all in OT. Middleton isn’t healthy and obviously Giannis isn’t playing.
Better prance around and talk shit and celebrate now because i don’t see this version of Indiana winning more than one game in the next round.

Finally playing Jackson Jr. helped a lot. Looks like Crowder may have played his last meaningful NBA minutes. Beasley too. Both completely and utterly useless.
Jon Horst really messed up the bench this year. He’s lucky he got Pat Bev for Payne because Connaughton, Crowder, and Beasley have all been played off the floor. none of those guys should be here next year. At least Thanasis is a good cheerleader.
Pat Bev is the only veteran guy that’s done anything for this group outside of the core 4 of Giannis and Middleton and Dame and Portis.
Think about it. They nearly beat a full Indiana squad on the road with no Giannis, an 80% Middleton, and probably 50% Dame in the OTs. And nothing off the bench.
They have to get younger this offseason. If that means trading Middleton and Dame so be it.
6 points from the bench, on a playoff game that went to OT. If anything screams “Horst has screwed this team up totally”, that’s it.
I saw somewhere online this team and year being referred to as the season from hell. Sounds about right. Dame aggravating his Achilles probably means he’s done for the playoffs too.

And Doc Rivers is quoted as saying Giannis has an off day today, will work out tomorrow, and they'll decide from there. Rivers said it's unlikely Giannis will play.
I would be shocked if Lillard plays in game 4 and honestly for the long term I’d shut him down. The last thing they need is for him to blow out his Achilles ala Durant.
