Rose is set to be back in a few weeks. He won't miss much time. But that team? I think they're teetering. There seems to be a lot of drama, and that stuff takes it's toll. Rose is the reason.

In the mean time, I think Indy getting George back is a big deal. That makes them a pretty good team, and they held it together last year pretty well without him all things considered. Vogel's good. He can coach.

But yeah, this team can give someone a run. Cleveland's still the best team, and if they figure out how to use Love correctly, watch out. But the Bucks should be able to beat anyone else on a given night, so they have a shot to make noise.

Been watching the NBATV stuff on the Bucks training camp- they have the right mentality. Take on the challenge. They believe in their talent, which is an important first step. but they'll get punched in the mouth, and how they respond will determine their season.

I checked jsonline for Parker news and there is an article stating he went the full 3 hours in their first formal practice.

On paper, this team looks really good.  I see three main wants.

1. The team plays continuous tough defense.

2. Giannis improves with his outside shot.

3. Same with MCW.

If Bucks get all three, I wouldn't want to have to tangle with them.

How about the rook? I love it. Kidd has confidence in him already, and gave him minutes to grow into the starter group. It will take a while, but this was a smart move by Kidd, and Vaughn responded.

Nice first half with the Bucks starters. BTW, I see Portis going up against Vaughn in this image. I wanted the Bucks to take Bobby Portis, very badly. He will be a good player for them.

The stroke looks quick and true. He seems a little one handed to me, but that's not uncommon for a 19 year old. His job it to hit shots off screens, pull-ups, and create shots for himself where he'll have to be able hit tough shots that are contested.
Good start.

McDermot and Mirotic are going to be an interesting duo to watch. If they're a featured part of the Bull's O, the Bucks match up well. Butler with 23 pts in 25 min... That guy torches the Bucks every time.
Bucks beat up on the hapless Wolves.   Good team effort and this team really has a lot of balance and depth.  Vasquez and Copeland and Vaughn and OJ give them a lot of good options off the bench and I think their shooting and scoring will be much improved.

They shot nearly 50% from the field and if they do that consistently they will be tough to beat
