Rodney Hood now out tonight with an Achilles contusion.

Giannis, Portis, Matthews, and DDV in COVID protocols.

Middleton and Lopez are out.

Thanasis and Ojeleye are game-time decisions.

So, the available players could be:

Holiday, G. Allen, Connaughton, Cousins, Nwora, J. Smart, Mamu, and George Hill.

4 of their 8 available players played 39 or more minutes last night  (Holiday played 44), and it will be the 5th game in 7 days for the Bucks.

Bucks had 12 points the first 4 minutes

and now 12 points the next 13 minutes.

The fact the NBA is playing these games with all these guys out is just idiotic.

This Bucks lineup tonight wouldn't be 500 in the G league.

The Nets lost a game to the Magic tonight with these guys sitting out:

BKN: Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Joe Harris, James Harden, James Johnson, Day'Ron Sharpe, LaMarcus Aldridge, Paul Millsap, Nic Claxton

You are getting into questions about integrity of the game

I would say the NBA is getting what it deserves… the β€œhealth and safety protocols” are stupid to administer to vaccinated players. To subscribe to this lunacy is proof how fucking dumb they all are.

I agree. If vaccinated players are asymptomatic, they should play. The unvaccinated players would have to sit full-time (since they would be almost guaranteed to be infected in that scenario), but that's the way it should be.

NBA?  Integrity?

Shirley you jest.

And now the NBA cancels the Cavs game today because they would have 6 guys in protocols. The Bucks were missing 6 guys last night with protocols and injuries and sat three others for rest. They played 8 guys, all of which were on the floor with multiple guys from the Cavs who were likely COVID positive.

Why did the Bucks have to play last night but the Cavs don't have to tonight (or why were the Bulls allowed to take a week off?).

The NBA clearly wants to make it to the Christmas games before making any broader shutdown decisions. That's a lot of revenue they count on.

I was just going to post the same thing

Either it’s about competitive balance or it’s not.  Why the fuck did the league cancel the Cavs game yet the Bucks and Nets had to play with like 8 healthy players?

The best part is the Bucks game was on a back to back so a reschedule would have meant nothing except a guaranteed loss for Milwaukee having to now play under those circumstances.

There’s also a good chance some of the Bucks may have been exposed given multiple positives today by Cleveland.  A double punch in the nuts because it could prolong the Bucks roster issues.

As it is I’m not sure what the Christmas games will look like.  It’s just a complete debacle.
