For being an elite team, these Bucks sure do have their fair share of ugly games.

MIddle of December on a road trip none of these guys want to be on against a good team jacked up to face the Bucks and the Bucks could care less.

Happens a lot in the NBA to even the good teams. It's usually a 15-20 point loss, not 50. The Grizzlies role players literally couldn't miss. I think they started the second half something like 15 for 18 from the field.

Obviously an embarrassing 142-101 loss, but the thing to really be concerned is that Middleton and Connaughton have really been bad since they've returned from injury.

Middleton is 25 for 77 from the floor and 10 for 41 from three

Connaughton is 27 for 88 from the floor and 17 for 66 from three

The excuse is that they are working back into game shape, but you shouldn't shoot that poorly even in a summer pick up game. Connaughton is just a role player, but the Bucks aren't beating anyone past the first round of the playoffs without at least an average version of Middleton. I'm wondering if the wrist injury was more severe than they are letting on.
