Middleton channels his inner Ray Nitschke and tackles the Grizzly. Flagrant 1.
Bucks down 18 with under 10 minute left in the half.
Bucks down 20 in the second quarter. They look like a team that didn't want to take a flight to Memphis.
Getting dominated and shooting 3 for 16 from three. 8 for 30 overall. Take out Portis and they are 5 for 25.
Giannis shots a 3 and makes it!
Bud has basically given up in the second quarter. Beauchamp already in. Bucks down 21.
50-25. Bucks just didn't show up. Giannis jacking up 3s and missing FTs.
Giannis is 19 for his last 53 from the floor.
Middleton is 0 for 6.
Bucks down 54-27 and look old and soft.
Portis is 3 for 5. Giannis is struggling, but at least 3 for 9.
The rest of the team is 3 for 20.
Beauchamp looks AWFUL.
it's a 27 point lead, but that was an awful flop on Giannis' first charge.
It's almost comical watching the Grizzlies isolate Morant on Lopez.
Grizzlies bench is 16 for 21 from the floor
They might as well sit the starters in the second half. Down 29 with a minute left in the first half. Giannis has basically given up - walks up and jacks a 3 for almost an airball.
Down 70-41 at the half. One of the most embarrassing halves of the Bud era.
Just a complete evisceration.
Portis, George Hill, and Giannis are 11 for 23 from the floor.
The rest of the team is 3 for 22.
Now down 35.
This might end up being the worst game of Khris Middleton's career. He's 0 for 8 from the floor with 2 turnovers and scoreless in 17 minutes.
How badly ahve the Bucks given up on Jordan Nwora is he can't even get minutes in a game where can't generate offense and they are down 36 points in the 3rd quarter.
Middleton is now 1 of 10 with 4 turnovers and 5 fouls in 20 minutes.
Bud giving up for good with 18 minutes left in the game. Thanasis is in.
Middleton airballs an open 3. 1 for 11. Probably time to get him out.
For being an elite team, these Bucks sure do have their fair share of ugly games.
Down by 46 after three.

MIddle of December on a road trip none of these guys want to be on against a good team jacked up to face the Bucks and the Bucks could care less.
Happens a lot in the NBA to even the good teams. It's usually a 15-20 point loss, not 50. The Grizzlies role players literally couldn't miss. I think they started the second half something like 15 for 18 from the field.
The Grizzlies first 4 guys off the bench went 21 for 28 from the floor.

Obviously an embarrassing 142-101 loss, but the thing to really be concerned is that Middleton and Connaughton have really been bad since they've returned from injury.
Middleton is 25 for 77 from the floor and 10 for 41 from three
Connaughton is 27 for 88 from the floor and 17 for 66 from three
The excuse is that they are working back into game shape, but you shouldn't shoot that poorly even in a summer pick up game. Connaughton is just a role player, but the Bucks aren't beating anyone past the first round of the playoffs without at least an average version of Middleton. I'm wondering if the wrist injury was more severe than they are letting on.
The Bucks have been on the other side of these games, but clearly Memphis had something to prove and they did.
You tend to see this earlier in the season and Iâm not really to get concerned at this point.
