This team’s going nowhere in the playoffs. I hope someone will step in and tell me I’m overreacting, but I don’t think so.

Third quarter defense has killed this team all year.

The Bucks were awful from the line, and Holiday had as many turnovers as the entire Nets team.

Not exactly a recipe for success. That’s just undisciplined, sloppy basketball.

To me, you’re not overreacting.

This team has looked a couple notches below the teams of the past 3 years for most of the year.  They had a little stretch where they played a bunch of injured, awful teams and looked pretty good, but that stretch was a fluke.

Maybe Brook Lopez comes back and is a savior but I doubt it.  It seems like coach Bud has lost the ability to get these guys focused.  Lots of lazy play on both offense and defense that leads to unexpected outcomes.

I wanted a repeat of last year’s title to really cement the Bucks as a power, but they just look like they don’t have that level of play in them this year.

The issue with this team is defensively they aren’t the same team without Lopez and to a lesser degree Pat C.

Portis is playing out of his mind but he’s not defensive minded either.

That may have been Holiday’s worst game in a Bucks uniform.

I do think there is a very real hangover effect from winning a title not to mention Holiday and Middleton never really got a break due to the Olympics.

The East is better this year and I’ll be interested to see what happens the rest of the way.  No way do I count this team out.
