See everywhere they’re calling this a “rematch”. Um... no.
Bucks need to own Fiserv like it’s a damn insult anyone thinks they can win in this building.

What a bullshit call on Bledsoe... Lowry forearms him out of the way and Bledsoe gets the call?
No Kawhi.
Bucks up 36-17 at the quarter. The only thing keeping this from being 25+ is Toronto getting 10 FT attempts.
Toronto has 3 3 pointers, 8 FTs, and no 2 point shots after 1.
Giannis with authority.
Raptors already with 17 FTs to the Bucks 8.
Giannis gets hammered by 3 guys and hits the shot. No And 1.
Raptors gets 5 FTs on questionable calls on two consecutive trips. 20 FTs to 8.
Bucks let a 26 point lead get down to 13 until Sterling Brown hits a 3 in the last minute to get back to 16.
Need to put the hammer down in the 3rd quarter.
14 fouls for the Bucks v 7 for Toronto?

That's the only reason this isn't a 25 point lead right now.
I just don’t get it. Look at the season totals so far on FT attempt differential. Same shit tonight. Almost 2-1 ratio.
Down to 11 after Middleton misses an open layup and then Lowry hits a 3.
Down to 10
Giannis to the bench in the 3rd up 12.
This is when they have to keep things going.
I love how they finally call the same call when Middleton shoots that Lowry gets all the time and Lowry screams about it.
Down to 9.
Lowry has 34 points with 15 minutes left in the game.
Bucks with another shitty third quarter and what was once a 26 point lead is down to 5. Bud screwed up not subbing Korver out on the possession with 1 second left to give up an easy layup. There is zero reason for Korver to be on the court for that play at that point when they are inbounding the ball with 1 second left.
From 86-71 to 95-90 in 4:15 seconds. 19 points given up in 4 minutes.
That kind of shit drives you crazy. Bucks up 10 and have the ball and Bledsoe takes a 27 point three pointer early the shot clock.
Middleton gets called on a charge on a flop to Lowry. Bullshit
Take Giannis out and they look terrible on offense.
What a shitshow. Take Giannis out and have 4 possessions
MIddleton charge
Bledsoe terrible turnover
Bledsoe terrible turnover
MIddleton terrible turnover.
It's still early in the season, but they are still having the same problems over and over and over.
Up 5, Giannis clanks 2 FTs.

And the Bucks get the rebound for Middleton to miss a WIDE open 3.
Fuckin Bucks are driving me nuts!!
You cannot miss that...
The Bucks are not a smart basketball team.
Two minutes left, down to 4. Lowry gets Giannis on another flop
That’s a terrible call...
Whew.....Christ Almighty.....not supposed to be this hard.
Bucks have a lot of work to do. As long as they keep winning they'll be fine.
Giannis takes over and ends this. Up 10 with 40 seconds left.
34 points, 15 points, 8 assists, 5 blocks.

Giving up 40 points in the 3rd quarter makes it harder than it should be. It's the recurring theme this year, really crappy end of 3rd quarters.
Giannis took that Boston game to heart. Like he’s willing himself, and this the team.
And once again- 33 minutes, 11 points, 4/12 shooting... more fouls/turnover (6) than made baskets. From a max player...
Middleton and Bledsoe nearly pissed the game away.
I think we all knew Middleton wasn't worth it. He keeps proving us right....every game.
Who else could they have signed with that money??
It’s what he’s done to their future that’s the issue. When they maxed him, he had to step forward and be an all star caliber player. A real all star.
If he cannot elevate his game this season, it’s a catastrophe.

No one better than Middleton. That's the problem with the NBA right now. The new age of stars having the ability to play where and with whom they want is great for the players and it's what we all want when we are looking for work. We all want that freedom.
The problem is that the NBA (or other sports leagues) can't function like that without creating a situation where about 8-10 teams have the potential to win consistently (Nets, Lakers, Clippers, Warriors, Heat, Rockets, Celtics, Mavs, Sixers, and the Knicks if they had a decent owner). Every one else gets 4 years if they hit on a draft pick and then has to get lucky again. It's like being the Washington Generals with a 3 year window if you win the NBA lottery in a year where a LeBron or Anthony Davis is coming out.
I don't know how you fix it without a long strike and the owners are making too much money to support shutting down the league to help the 20 or so teams that have very little chance of regularly being competitive as they new player empowerment era progresses. It's just a matter of time before a guy like Zion Williamson refuses to go to the small market right out of the draft and forces his way to one of the more desirable franchises on the Coasts or in Texas/Miami.
They weren't getting anybody better than Middleton to come to Milwaukee as a free agent. Unless a great player grows up here or nearby (like what Jabari Parker could have been), there is no reason to come to live in sub-zero weather for the winter with limited endorsement opportunities.
If Giannis forces his way out (which is his right) next year, I will likely never watch the NBA regularly ever again.
Bullshit. It’s not like San Antonio is the place where players go to get endorsements. You get that player, then build it right, you don’t have to worry about that. The Admiral was there his whole career too.
But Giannis cannot be the Bucks Duncan if he doesn’t develop his game. He needs to be better than he’s been.
There's a long ways to go, but I won't deny that at present it does feel like the Bucks are 1 top complementary player short of being a championship caliber team. Who knows, maybe someone internally gets hot when it matters and can be the proper complement to Giannis.
If nothing else, there is a good amount of depth on this roster, and maybe someone can unexpectedly be the Bucks version of Fred Van Vleet when the playoffs come around. I like the little bit I've seen from DiVincenzo. Maybe my hopes for him might be too high, but maybe someone like him emerges as an unexpected "wild card" come playoff time.
