It's amazing I can watch a game and think a guy played a crappy game, and Giannis was awful from the line (5-13), but otherwise.

30 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks, and 12-23 from the floor.

If he hits his FTs at all, he goes for 35.

Bucks should not feel like they won this game. They didn’t play defense until about 3:30 in the 3rd when Budenholzer called a timeout after another layup. The Bucks gave up 20 points the rest of the game, over 15 minutes of game time.

Brook Lopez  was useless defensively, and Giannis let Parker go crazy the first 33 minutes.

Can’t play like that, fellas...

They closed out the 1st quarter on an 18-0 run over the last 6 minutes. But instead of burying them, they gave up 42 in the second. What should have been a 25 minute outing by Giannis became 35 minutes.

Trae Young getting big points again concerns me the most, because the Celtics are going to be a matchup in the playoffs and Kemba Walker is just a better version of Young.

Atlanta played hard but they turned the ball over like crazy and at the end could not make the defensive stops.

For about half of the game the Bucks were sleepwalking and that can’t happen because if you do it enough it will become a habit and kill you come postseason.

Ersan and DD were very good last night and at times so was Giannis but the officials let Atlanta hang around and for a team like Milwaukee they needed to drop the hammer before halftime and not let the Hawks stay in the game.

This team has a long way to go to be considered a championship contender because they are not playing with intensity and focus nearly enough.  That killer instinct needs to ramp up or this is simply a very good but not great team.

I would say that Middleton’s 5/13 shooting night with several wide open missed was a product of 3+ weeks of rust, but then I’d remember that’s basically a typical Middleton night...

And also a typical Middleton night in that he finally hit a huge 3 in the 4th quarter after being mediocre all game.

He missed several wide open shots

The good thing about Middleton is he can hit a midrange jumper and he’s good at free throws.  That’s the challenge with Giannis right now at end of games.  He can’t hit the FTs
