12/13... and 30. Beautiful baby hook.
Giannis has 37 with 3 min left in the 3rd...
Best stat for Giannis is 5-5 of FT's. I'm sure he'll miss his next one now that I posted that......
If you don't build a wall against Giannis, this is what happens.
Thanks to Sinclair/YouTube TV I can't see the game, but he's 13/14 on non-3 point attempts?

And he probably got fouled on the one he missed.
Bucks getting sloppy and let the Pistons hang around. Within 11.
This game also shows that Nwora isn't ready for bigger minutes. A couple of sloppy turnovers and he's getting absolutely torched on the defensive end.
Nwora is -8 in 7 minutes. The Bucks are +19 in the other 31 minutes.

New rule. Never mention a good FT run by Giannis. He missed his next two FTs and neither was remotely close.
Ugh. My bad. Premature dagger......
DDV having his first really poor game of the year.
D. Rose is going to be traded to a contender somewhere. He's instant offense off the bench
Pistons still hanging around. Giannis sits down with the Pistons within 8.
Pistons on a 9-0 run.
3:39 left and a timeout... Giannis probably finished with 41.
Well, some more run for Giannis and gets 43...
Bucks halfcourt offense the last 4 possessions has left a lot to be desired.
Should be good. With Connaughton out with a groin, Forbes and Augustine combine for 21 on 5/7 from 3.

In fairness to DDV he had 9 assists tonight. He was due a bit of correction in his shooting percentages as he was shooting something like 60+ percent from 3 land before this game.
Brogdon hits the game winner over Bledsoe...

I loved it when those guys were together in the backcourt for the Bucks that first 2/3 of the 2018-2019 season before Brogdon got hurt. The ball movement that team had with both those guys in the backcourt was fantastic. It just wasn’t the same after Brogdon’s late return in the playoffs. Wish we could have had a 100% Brogdon out there that whole year to finish out his time with the Bucks.
Jrue Holiday just told reporters the thing that stands out most to him about Giannis Antetokounmpo is that he treats every game like it's his last and he tries to take that same approach.

Brogdon really helped cover up some of Bledsoe’s weaknesses and I hope both guys excel with their teams. Holiday is much better than either of them and if DDV continues to improve this should be a very good backcourt.
Dante did not play particularly well last night but for the season (small sample size) he’s still shooting over 50% from 3 and playing very good defense. It’s interesting, Bogdanovic is playing about the same number of minutes for Atlanta but DDV is putting up better stats and is obviously a much better defender.

Agree on Bogdanovic. If we'd have never heard of the sign-and-trade that fell through we'd have all thought that getting Holiday was a great upgrade. Bogdanovic's agent did a great job of making him into a star on paper. The fact that a lottery team like the Kings didn't want to match a half-max contract for him should say a lot. He's He'd be a nice guy to have, but I'd rather have DDV.
The Holiday decision will be one that might result in a poorer regular-season record and a #3 seed, but will provide a better chance in the playoffs. Holiday is better than either Brogdon or Bledsoe. The steps to getting him are interesting in retrospect. Horst did a great job of clearing off some awful contracts to free cap space that probably allowed them to sign some of the free agents we have now.
Three years ago, the Bucks had John Henson, Matthew Dellavadova, Greg Monroe, and Malcolm Brogdon on the roster. Since then, they've traded Monroe for Bledsoe, Henson and Delly (and a first round pick) for Hill, and Brogdon for a 1st round pick. Then, turned around and traded Hill, the pick they got for Brogdon, Bledsoe (and two of their own 1st round picks) for Holiday.
In the last three years they've turned Monroe, Dellavadova, Henson, Brogdon, and 3 of their own first-round picks into Holiday. They had to be thrilled in retrospect to jettison the contracts of Monroe, Delly, and Henson even for nothing. All 3 are no longer in the NBA. So, if I'd have told you we would end up trading Brogdon and 3 first-round picks for Holiday and getting rid of three awful contracts, would we have been happy? Absolutely.
The question would be whether having Brogdon, Hill, Bledsoe, and some mid- to late 20s 1st round picks is better than having Holiday? They could have made that work if they had wanted.
Bucks kick off game 2 12-2, 5/5 from the field and Giannis 1/1 from the line and 5 early points. Pistons need an early TO.
Bucks getting too loose defensively- Ellington gets going, you gotta hound him.
Brook Lopez is better with better shot selection. 2 open looks tonight for 3, two makes.
Pistons within 2 after several good looks from 3.
Start 14-4- Pistons on a 21-13 run...
Beautiful break by Augustine...
Great to see Giannis with high awareness... pump fake- man in the air, easy and-one (but he missed the FT).
That’s a flagrant 1...
Giannis with a monster start...
Bobby Portis!!!!!!!!!!!
Giannis ends the 1st quarter at 16-3-1 in 8 minutes.
Derrick Rose keeps the Bulls in it by putting up 10 minutes in 6 minutes.
Nwora holding up well on defense tonight
Look at Nwora... wow! Step back triple!
And another!!!
Giannis with a little heat check. You gonna take that bullshit, you better make that bullshit...
And Bud sits him... good.
