Big game tonight & Harden is ultra-hot
GOing to need to hit some open 3's & play solid defense to win this one.

Obviously another good test to see where they are. A key will probably be how the game is officiated. If Harden gets 25 FTAs and Giannis gets 8 FTAs the Bucks will be in trouble.
Harden is pretty overrated if you ask me
The whole step back (no travel) move and drawing ticky tack fouls seems to be his game

He generally plays defense with the same intensity as Jabari Parker, but he's a HOF offensive player.
Terrible time management at the end of the 1st. Get possession with the shot clock off and take a shot with 10 seconds left and then give up a 3 at the other end.
He plays no defense
Neither does the team
Houston is an also ran team
The refs treat them like they are the present day Warriors or past Spurs but they are irrelevant in the West. The refs need to realize they are a 4 or 5 seed not the Bulls with Jordan
Beating Utah or Denver or LAC is more telling than Houston
Is a 90 year old Chris Paul suiting up?
God the refs give them a lot of love
Another bullshit call
Giannis gets called for the charge and Houston “defender” isn’t set at all
**** you refs
PJ Tucker plays defense like a bitch
Junk D

He had already passed the ball. They usually don't call that on most players, let alone an All-Star level guy.
Another foul on the Bucks
What a joke
Harden screaming for a Giannis travel under the rim is definitely the pot calling the kettle black.
That is no goddamn foul Harden is fraud
He pushes off on Hill and gets the and one
Starting to get away from them. Harden gets a questionable call for a 4 point play and then hits a step back 3 pointer (after taking 3 steps backward without dribbling) on the next possession.
He’s a junk player
He should be called for traveling on half his step back shots. A lot of players do. Not him
The best part is Houston is going nowhere in the West. Yet they are treated like the 80s Lakers. **** that team
It's easy to play basketball on offense if almost every touch is a foul and you can travel almost at will. That's what Harden gets to do.
Middleton gets shoved on a shot - no call.
More garbage
God these refs suck
This game is unwatchable the way they are calling this
Harden with 9 FT attempts so far. Giannis with 2.
Harden shoots 3 pointers and does the Reggie Miller flail with his legs, Giannis drives and has 3 guys hacking at him every possession - yet only one foul call.
I have no idea what they are calling
Harden misses the dunk and they get bailed out yet no contact

I agree. They way they officiate Harden, he's unguardable. Even Steph Curry doesn't get the calls he does.
Bucks have 11 fouls called on them, the Rockets have 6.
Bucks dominant with Bledsoe, get killed with George Hill on Harden.
+12 with Bledsoe, -20 with Hill
Great end to the 3rd quarter. Bucks end on a 19-2 run - much of it with Harden out. Now have to withstand Harden going for about 25 in the 4th.
Up 15. Then bad shots/possessions by Bledsoe, Brown, and Lopez and now down to 7.
FML
Giannis with 27 points, 21 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Brogdon is 77 for 78 from the line this year. That is absolutely incredible.
James Harden....eat shit! And get a shave...BITCH! MILWAUKEE BUCKS! #FearTheDeer baby! 💪
Loving it!

Harden with 9 turnovers. If Bledsoe would have been able to guard him all night, he'd have probably scored about 15 points less.
Bledsoe was great on defense tonight.
There was that 1 play. Harden steps back hits a 3 then kicks his leg out to make contact with Bledsoes & they call a foul on Bledsoe....it's ****in ridiculous.
But eff it....Bucks win. Let's keep this train rolling!
Malcolm Brogdon was stellar once again.
Bucks had to overcome a lot. That was some weird officiating....NBA has to do something about all of these offensive charge calls when defender is not close to being set.
Harden is very good but man he really gets away with a lot. If I'm not mistaken, he put up around 45 shots. Ok, great but we win with TEAM play .

Brogdon could be a 50-40-90 guy... pretty select company there.
All I know is....the more I watch Middleton, the more I know he isn't worth $20 million a year.
Just my opinion, man.
It’s incredible what the refs let Harden get away with. Reminds me of Allen Iverson like treatment. He initiates contact to create his shot and that step back move without dribbling is a complete joke.
He can get his 40 points per game I’d much rather get the win. Houston is tough to beat at home but another notch in the victory belt for the Bucks.
Giannis gets all the credit in the world but this year Brogdon and to a lesser extent Bledsoe have come up big in key moments. Love their defensive effort and intensity and MB is clutch.
That over the rim put back by Giannis near the end of the game certainly highlights his skills. Great shot at a huge moment.
The bonus was Giannis inadvertently drilling Harden in the face on a pass.
He does stuff on the court just about every game that makes you sit back and marvel at his skills. I had the same feeling watching guys like Bird and Magic and MJ. He’s truly a special kind of talent and his work ethic and desire to improve is outstanding.

I like the push off hard with the left arm to clear space move (and take two steps along with it). And get's the 4 point play calls.
If they called the same level of contact on guys that drive to the rim (LeBron, Giannis, etc.) that they do for Harden, those guys would average 30 FTAs a game.
The isolation stuff is also really boring to watch. Giannis or LeBron driving and kicking; the Warriors moving the ball around the perimeter; the Ben Simmons type passing, etc. are all nice to watch. Harden pounding the ball for 20 seconds of the shot clock and then launching is like watching a game at the local Y.

That's the problem this offseason. Even not considering Lopez, they have three guys up for free agency that are all important parts of the team, but none of them are what I'd consider max players (Middleton, Brogdon, and Bledsoe). Middleton and Bledsoe will want max money and are likely to get it from somebody willing to overpay. Middleton keeps getting mentioned as a guy to go the Lakers (or to the Knicks if they get Durant).
I’ve been beating that drum for most of the season. They give Middleton max money, they waste Giannis’ prime and that might lose him...
