Honestly, if you are Golden State maybe they should trade Curry to retool?   It’ll never happen but that is not a good team. Wiseman looks pretty decent but the rest of that roster is garbage.

I’m glad they are running up the score on those tampering fucks.   I hope the Bucks win by 50.

DDV looks like a different player.  To a lesser extent so does DJ Wilson.

If those two guys play close to this level the rest of the season this will be a tough team to beat.

I realize it’s 2 games but maybe DDV is better than Bogdonavic?  The national media will never admit it but holding onto DDV might have been a Jedi mind trick.

Yeah, a Jedi mind trick pulled by Bogan. Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don’t make.

It might be the only one of their 5 big contracts you could trade. Even that is pushing it. I love watching Curry but he's going to be 33 and is due about 45 million this year and next year. He's been an adequate defender, but he's still someone that good teams will hunt for matchups as a halfcourt defender.

Green averaged 8 points a game the last two years, shot about 40% from the field, and less then 29 percent from 3. He'll be 31 later this season and is owed 100 million over the next 4 years. At this point, he should be a guy making the MLE and coming off the bench for a contender.

Klay will go almost 2.5 years without playing, has two knee constructions, will be 31 before he plays again, and is owed about 160 million over the next 4 years.

Wiggins is making 95 million over the next 3 years. He'll put up big numbers on crappy teams, and shoot poor percentages.

I don't even like Oubre at 14 million.

On top of all this, the Warriors are paying 147 million in luxury taxes. So they are paying about 320 million for this team.

I think your assessment is dead on. The Warriors core of Curry, Thompson, and Green may be finished. How many injuries can they endure?

If Green continues to show regression, I would say they need to jettison everything they have in player assets and start a rebuild around Wiseman. He looks like the real deal in a small sample size.

Curry: We need to win.....IMMEDIATELY!

Ya think?

$320 Million incl. Luxury Tax....holy hell. That's a lotta scratch to pay for what looks like a lottery team. Klay & Green alone maybe make this a .500 club. 30-35 wins...MAYBE.

I'm going to watch & see what Wiggins does vs. the Bulls. Wiggins & Oubre have been brutal the first 2 games.

PER is a decent measure of overall production. It's used by a lot of statistics sites. Giannis led the league at 31.9 last year.

The last two seasons Draymond Green has been 12.9 and 12.5.

Wiggins is 14.7 in his career.

Oubre was 14.9 last year and 12.4 for his career.

Of course, Curry wants to win now. He's about two years from being what Kyle Korver was last year. The problem is the roster is crap other than Wiseman and him. Their best move is to be a team trying to win around Wiseman in 2-3 years and move Curry to someone for draft assets and young players. The Celtics actually work because of the massive trade exemption they have. Maybe the Mavs for Porzingis plus picks. The problem is they have to sell tickets in a brand new arena and the best entertainment they have is watching Steph in warmups and hoping he goes off during the game you are at.

Wiseman could be really good. You could get a lot for him. The Warriors will probably do something in a panic like trade Wiseman, Wiggins, and picks for Harden. That package works for salary cap purposes.

Man put Curry on the Bucks.....can't happen I know but that would be magnificent!

That's really all the Bucks need to be indefensible.

If the W's trade Wiseman they're completely idiotic.

The Warriors won their titles because of their homegrown talent.  To see them flounder and overpay and quite frankly make bad moves is ironic.  That team is dead in the water.

Perhaps there is a way to get Curry on the Bucks?

Curry is in purgatory. Other than Wiseman, there is no one else on the Warriors that is going to get them anything in a trade. And any team trading for Curry would be giving up too many good players to be competitive this year.

The Warriors' own pick and that of the Timberwolves (1-3 protected) could be very good next summer, but those guys aren't going to be ready to compete for a deep playoff for another 2-3 years even if they are good.

Even if Klay was healthy, the Warriors were not going to be more than a 5th seed. The Lakers, Nuggets, Clippers, and Jazz are all clearly better and they might have had trouble beating the Suns, Mavs, Blazers, and Pelicans as well.
