What should have been a 30 point laugher against a team in tank mode now becomes a challenge.

Itβs interesting I wonder if teams are going to want to avoid Brooklyn now in round 1?

As of now (standings below), it's almost certain the Heat, Sixers, Bucks, and Celtics are seeds 1-4 in some order.
The Bulls, Cavs, and Raptors are 5-6-7 in some order.
The Nets, Hornets, and Hawks are 8-10.
1-4 really doesn't matter in the first round, and as you say, you might want to avoid the Nets who could play either the 1 or the 2 in the first round. The 3 or 4 seed gets you the Cavs or Bulls who are the easiest matchups for Round 1.
It may be really important for the Nets to get to 7 now that Kyrie can play home games, since I'm not sure he's allowed to play in Canada at this point. I wouldn't want to end up playing the Hawks in a one-game elimination (after losing the 7-8 game) and have Trae Young go off on you.

Well, Bud is clearly not too concerned about playoff seeding as long as they stay in the top 4. They were the 3rd seed last season if I remember correctly.
Boston has been on fire but I donβt think thatβs a deep team and Tatum would need to take another leap and Iβm not sure thatβs him.
Miami just seems to be coming apart at the worst possible time. Butler looks totally disinterested. Them drawing Brooklyn in R1 would be really entertaining.
Wizards seem to be going through the motions.
Even without Giannis and Khris, Bucks open up the game for a 12-2 lead after 4 minutes.
Bucks up 32-13 after one quarter. Holiday at 10-2-3.
Now 38-13.
Bucks up 41-19. Everyone playing well except for Nwora who is 0 for 4 to go along with his usual terrible defense.
60-42 at the half. A little sloppy the last minute, but still a great half.
92-66 after three.
8 Bucks with at least 7 points.
Wizards get it to within 17 after a 12-2 run (a lot with Nwora on the court). 8 minutes left.
Wizards get it down to 6 with under 2 minutes. Bucks were up 26.
Hold on to win by 12. Had to play Holiday 33 minutes, but otherwise split the minutes well.
Nwora is basically a fart in the bathtub at this point.
Playing against a vastly inferior opponent, given substantial playing time for the second time in two weeks (the other being in mop up in a 19 point loss to Minny), and he shits the bed. 18 minutes, 0 points (0-6, 0-3), 3 rebounds, 3 fouls.

His stats don't even capture how badly he played. His misses weren't even close to going in and the Wizards just lit him up when he was trying to play defense. They showed Holiday and Giannis talking to him on the bench explaining things to him after Bud took him out at one point.
Life must be pretty good if we are talking and griping about a guy (Nwora) that has zero chance of having any meaningful minutes in playoff games.
Pat C has looked great upon returning and to a lesser degree so has Lopez. Ibaka has been a fantastic addition against bigger teams and Wes Matthews figures to to get a lot of looks against guard oriented teams. Thatβs to say nothing about Javon Carter who has been a lock down defender since joining the Bucks.
See where I am going with this?
