Obviously, they are still missing 2 of their best 4 players. Middleton will be back next week. They really miss him in the halfcourt in close games. Right now, opponents just force someone to beat them other than Giannis and it mostly works.

The bigger concern is Lopez. Is he going to be back later this month or in February? Giannis is getting worn down playing most of the game at the 5, and when he sits there is zero rim protection.

If Lopez' injury is going to be a season-long thing, they have to make a move for another big body. Maybe you package Nwora for a backup big guy. Robin Lopez?

If Lopez is out for extended time I fully expect Horst to make a move.  Getting Middleton back is a big deal because teams have to honor his scoring ability and not hone in on 34.

Sunday was weird in general.  The Knicks got thumped at home by Cleveland and the Magic schooled Utah.

Then again, it’s early and a long season back to 82 games.  I seriously doubt come January that Milwaukee, Atlanta, Indiana and Boston will be looking up at teams like the Cavs and Wizards.   Toronto looks better than expected and you thought Chicago would be improved.

The Bucks have a tough 4 game stretch this week, but w/exception of a few games against Miami and Boston their following 25 games or so aren’t that tricky going into New Years.
