Defense gave up one play all day, other than the long TD (and the opening drive, kinda), defense was dominating.  

So I got home and was all ready to watch the game... and for some reason my DVR decided to not record it.

 

 

After grumbling for a while but watching other stuff I had missed, I thought, well fugg, it was on ESPNU, let's see what ESPN3 has, maybe you can watch replays.

 

FML you CAN!  yup I may be an idot, but first time I had to try and find a game I missed.

 

Either way, I am now happy and a few cocktails deeper into a Saturday.

Glad Purdon't lived up to their moniker.  As for the Hawkeyes, Suckeyes is more than appropriate.  MSU sucks too. 

 

I don't like we have to do next week ans that is hope O$U wins at Goophers.  I hate rooting for O$U to win.

As someone that also follows the Gophers I have a hard time believing they are going to beat O$U after thrashing Iowa.  They usually follow up a big win with an absolute clunker and I would be concerned about the Bucks team speed on offense.  If Michigan State D couldn't match up I don't see how Minnesota D will match up. 

Part of me was hoping UW would get a night game next week but 2:30 it is.   They are going to have to play better and not make mistakes to beat Nebraska but they can and should beat the Huskers.  Then it likely comes down to the game at Iowa for all of the division marbles.
