Clement with another no show.
Horni missed 2 many passes, receivers didn't make catches when they should.
Defense was nails.

None at all. They played **** ing great. Only a 7 point loss on the road to a top 5 team with a redshirt frosh QB.
Be proud Bucky and carry ON!

You have a great point.
There was a couple of SUPER questionable calls in the 2nd half that completely affected the game. F THEM!
The finish of the Georgia - Tennessee game is one for the ages, trading long TD passes with less than a minute remaining.
Tennessee wins on a hail Mary.

I think we scored right after one of those bad calls so at least one had no effect on the game. However, 7 points will not win many games.
Who gives a **** about the S$C? Make another forum.
I usually harp on the refs more than most but it was failure to make plays at key times that cost them. Figaro makes that pick at EZ he goes 100. Hornibrook hits Peavy late in the game it's an easy long TD. Close game, 1 or 2 plays make a difference.
Refs made a couple odd calls, but the reason they lost is that they could not move the ball. I have to wonder if Clement is still hurt.
Wisconsin's last 12 regular season Big Ten losses have come by seven points or less. Last time UW lost by 7+, 2010 at Michigan State

He does not look the same, not many holes to hit tho. Need these young lineman to improve. That being said the Wolves are pretty good up front

....and don't forget his first job down in San Diego! He took University of San Diego (Catholic School) to win the Pioneer League in his first year (or 2nd) and to the DII playoffs. Kids, fans, and the press loved him. He was good for the city. That being said...I still think he's a jerk...but a very good coach, motivator, and recruiter.
True SD, true

True. But maybe the defense gets a bit more tired in the 4th Quarter by having to stay on the field longer in the 3rd Quarter. ??

Yup. Missed opportunities. Big ones.
They played tough and it was a gutty effort. Hopefully they can channel the big game experience and adversity they faced and come up with a W against O$U. The Bucks are probably a better team but UW gets them at home which helps them a lot. Road Big Ten games are a minefield. Just look at yesterday's games.
All I had to do was catch it man ïŋ―ïŋ― could've changed the game ...

Players understand they blew a tremendous opportuntiy and they'll grow from the experience, especially the QB.
That one and the Hornibrook overthrow to Peavy. If Figaro makes the pick or if 12 connects either play could have gone for a TD.

I usually don't say much about officiating but how is it that Harbaugh can spend what seemed like half the game on the field and not once do they flag it? I also think there was quite a bit of holding by UMs DBs.
But I am not bummed about this loss they stood tall and played nasty D against a legit national title contender. And Hornibrook will get better with experience he seems to have that look about him.
Now rest up and concentrate on beating O$U
Interesting they fell 3 spots in the AP despite a close loss on the road against a top 6 team
I was kind of surprised they only fell 3 spots honestly. I was expecting the typical thing when UW loses and they drop them 10+ spots. Perhaps the pollsters saw a team that is pretty darn good and played UM hard.
No prob with this ranking.....come back and beat the Buckeyes and they will go up. Keep winning keep rising. Lose to OSU and they could experience the Badger 10 spot or more drop. PC has 2 weeks to get Horni back on track, and he will be needed. OHio is good, real good.
I have the Badgers at home winning a close one.
Harbaugh is a great coach, but he lasts 5-6 years at every place for a reason - he drives everyone around him crazy. At least in college, the players turn over fast enough that they leave before they are ready to kill him.
Hornibrook came back to earth a little bit - if he played like he did against MSU they win the UM game. He's going to be really good next year and as an upperclassman, but he's getting good experience now on a team that will likely end up about 9-3 and going to a nice bowl game. I think we'd have taken that outcome before the year started.
I think Ohio State will likely blow them out, but I think OSU is going to blow almost everyone out until they get to the playoffs and play Alabama or one of the teams with a superstar QB.
As I posted previously I live about an hour from Columbus and am married to a rabid O$U fan. Anyhow, I would actually take the bet that O$U will not blow out UW.
Their defense is solid but they are vulnerable to slant plays in the passing game and teams have had some success running right at them. They are fast but not that big.
Offensively, if you can hold down their running game and take away the WRs and make Barrett run all the time they can be beaten.
Will UW beat them? ehhhhh don't think so there is just too much talent on that team. But then again didn't we say there was too much talent on Michigans team?
