I doubt it happens but Fickell has no control over this team. The same reason Chryst was fired.

A neither had near enough good players. Gotta have that.
Chryst is on record basically mailing it in his last two years with recruiting. Fickell has been better, but the coaching has been far worse.
Yeah, but it’s all Cryst’s fault because the players he recruited weren’t good enough.
it’s not Fickel’s fault he can’t coach them or all the players he brought in through the portal.
