Nice to see the younger guys step up though. Iverson and Brown really picked up the slack with Koenig and Showy struggling. I love how active Iverson is- he's going to be pretty special in a couple years. So explosive...

I still think they are likely to end up in the NIT, but you have to like the job Gard has done in developing these players. I didn't give them much hope for the post-season when they were 9-9 and playing MSU to stay above .500.

Here's what's left on the schedule and what I'd currently predict. The OSU, Nebraska, and Michigan games will probably be the ones that determine Bucky's post-season fate.

OSU  - WIN

Nebraska - WIN

At Maryland - LOSS

at MSU - LOSS

Illinois - WIN

Iowa - LOSS

Michigan - LOSS

at Minnesota - WIN

Big Ten Tournament - Predict a 1-1 record.

If you project this out, it would mean a 9-8 Big Ten regular season record and an 18-14 overall record. That probably means the NIT. Those losses to Milwaukee and especially Western Illinois are probably going to be what ends up costing Bucky the NCAA berth. Western Illinois is winless in their conference.
