Kinda getting manhandled. Is this becoming a disappointing season?

An awful lot of interior calls going the Illini way right now. Two phantom fouls on Reuvers and then Davis gets elbowed in the face and actually gets the foul called on him.
Shooting goes cold... Illinois goes on a 7-0 run and the lead is 14 again.
They were bad

It's about what you'd expect. They are an extremely experienced veteran team with somewhat limited athletism. There isn't even a player that can play in Europe among them, but they'll win 20 some games and probably have an outside shot of getting to the Sweet 16.
They play 8 guys. Four of the 8 are redshirt seniors (Trice, Ford, Potter, and Anderson). 2 of them are regular seniors (Reuvers and Davidson). That's the majority of their scoring, minutes, ballhandling, and rebounding. Wahl is a sophomore and J. Davis is a freshman. This also means next year is going to be a really tough year.
A fact that always amazes me is that D. Trice is only 18 months younger than Giannis.
Thanks MP2. I guess I thought the age of the club for this COVID-19 season would be a major benefit. One thing for sure that has been bad lately is their 3-point shooting. Maybe they can get hot at tourney time and make a run.
