Happy Valley is a tough place to play. Not expecting a lot from Bucky tonight.
You know you are a pretty bad team when you make Chuck Thomas look good
Nice win in a tough place. Makes a difference when King, Pritzl, Reuvers, and Davison go 14-22 from the floor
8 -16 from 3 point land. And that includes a 1-6 from Trice.
Yup. Hot shooting is definitely the cure-all.
They even got some second chance buckets. Looked to me like Gard tweaked his system a little in that regard (like you can try for a follow-up and still get back on D). Good to see it. And Davison draining 3βs, hell yeah!
Pretty sure the announcers had some kind of man-crush on Nate Reuvers. Iβm down with Reuvers, so no argument from me.

Reuvers reminds me of Mike Wilkinson. Really talented guys that just need some time to mature and be in the weight room.
BIG10 TV announcers said NBA scouts are taking a hard look at Reuvers and projecting where he'd be in 2-3 years. Hit that weight room kid and work hard on the floor! Buy some shades because your future is bright!

It's probably not an overstatement to say that his development may be the most important factor that determines Gard's long-term status. There doesn't seem to be a lot of help coming in the next recruiting class and without Reuvers there is virtually no inside presence returning next year (Happ, Iverson, and even Charlie Thomas are done). He's also the only guy they have returning that could score from the post.
