I am just amazed at the inconsistency in fouls being called.  I really don't think the refs know what or how to call a foul anymore.   You have to commend Bo for not blowing his top and getting a T.

I saw a lot of hand checking going on that wasn't called.  Then, all of sudden, they start to call it.   They don't call over the back for the first half, then, they start to call it.

Also, a few years ago the refs were told to start calling "carrying the ball".  But now I hardly see it called.  Then, this year, the refs are told to call fouls when the ball carrier is impeded to the basket.  If that's what they want now then they must start calling the "carrying" the ball to even things out for the defense.

Evan Anderson was called on and gave solid minutes.  I'd prefer Hayes and Frank not get into foul trouble, but EA came in and didn't **** the bed.  He's massive and blocks out like his life depends on it, coupled with hooks for hands.  Three point percentage might make him in the corner the best shot in college basketball.

We've seen it a thousand times, a player makes a bad pass and instantly gets taken out.  We saw it yesterday with Dekker and Hayes.  Yet Trae gets to make bad passes and stays in the game.  I find it curious.  Trae was pretty good yesterday, don't get me wrong, just seems like he gets a longer leash.

Brust couldn't stay in front of his man.  Jackson and Bronson were better than they were the last few games, but Ben got tangled up a couple times.  Interestingly, he is perhaps the most instinctive rebounder on the team and his help defense wasn't bad.

Frank can pump fake and drive any time.  He's also welcome to shoot it.  No restrictions on the big man on offense.  I love it.  Best post play on that end since Wilkenson.

Agree on EA's play.  Did the job he's required to do.

On Frank's pump fake, Hammons bit and then bumped him off his dribble drive just a smidgeon.  The refs should've called it on him.  But, Frank needs to understand that and Frank should've initiated contact to draw a 4th Foul while putting it up to draw the 2 free throws.  As it was, it was a terrific play and almost dunk.

Why that is true, Ammo, I also think we saw a bit more intensity on Defense.  Now, maybe Purdue doesn't have the athletes (or at least point guard) that Indiana, Michigan, and Minnesota have, but, I saw a bit more giddy-up in their defense.

now, please ammo, don't lock this thread, too, just because you are grumpy...that would be censorship.  Is that a times-four first?  Locking a thread because you personally didn't like it?  Must be nice.
