The game got away from the Badgers when they did not defend the 3 point shot, in the 2nd half. Lack of offensive boards did not help, either.
Nebraska's gonzo defense worked in the second half because Bucky forgot there was a post to throw into.
I know Mast is a load but they didn't even try to get the to Crowl on the block. His footwork should have beaten Mast on D.
Ugly loss but hopefully it'll benefit them in the long run. Need to learn to play under control when the crowd is in a frenzy - in the 2nd half I've never seen so much miscommunication on offense. There had to be 3-4 times where a pass was going to the wing/corner as soon as the intended target started cutting to the hoop.
Agreed with the above - the post was a barren wasteland at the end of the game and OT.

When they did he was doubled up quickly and could not move the ball easily. Pretty good D and not a great adjustment from Gard.
Yep. I said Gard needed to be at his best, but in the 2nd half and OT he wasn't. The wasted TO by Wahl when he was tied up at the end of the 1st half didn't help either.
And when you need O and some points why is Gilmore on the floor? He’s fine to eat some minutes if you are ahead but he adds nothing that I can see on the offensive end.
