Man, a fourth quarter with 2 int's, a missed FG, and OT with a missed extra point and Bucky still manages to pull it out!
Amazingly, that's the worse they're played all season...
I think I need a cigarette and a ham sandwich.
Redemption and no soul crushing!!
What a game, that was a blast.
I cant wait for Chryst to call a game when he has confidence in his QB
OT, the Bucks win too.
Best 6-2 team in the country.
Best not 7-1 team in the country.
Injuries, next kid up. We don't CARE!!
Nebraska was better than I thought. Good win by Bucky tonight, but OSU may have trouble with Nebraska next week.
If OSU beats Nebraska, I think Bucky controls their own destiny - win out and get to Big Ten Championship.
Considering strength of schedule, it will be interesting to see how the playoff machine ranks them...
O$U $uck$
and Cubs getting souls-crushed.
This is the greatest night without sex I've had in some time.
back in the top ten
I, too, wonder where Bucky will be in the polls on Monday? A few teams lost in the top 10. But, I'm not sure Bucky is a top 10 team right now the way they are playing on the Offensive side of the ball. Hopefully, the Badgers can move up to the 9th spot.

6 or 7.
Bank.

The polls won't matter much. They'll be top 10 and if they win out in the regular season, they'll be 10-2 with multiple wins against top 10 teams. If they somehow beat Michigan or OSU in the championship game, they'll be a top 4 team.
Northwestern is not going to be a pushover next week. Illinois and Purdue should be easy wins, and then Minnesota to end the regular season.
I hope you're right, BK. I know I'm being a bit pessimistic on 9th. I just don't know how the voters will look at this win. Home game, played like crap offensively, etc.

It's the D
They were pretty much top 4 in everything before tonight, I don't see that dropping.
The O is getting figured out, well enough. But my point was how it gets funneled into a formula. That's my curiosity.

Most voters were probably watching the World Series. They did beat the #7 team in the country.
Wasn't pretty but it is a W. Musical QB's isnt the answer. Clements isn't the answer. Defense wins football.
Gonna need better QB play...a very nice win but, 2 fourth quarter ints, missed fg and missed xp in a close game usually will not do it. Thanks Huskers and here's to a helluva D.

This.
Great post.
I'm not saying they will DROP. I just don't think they'll move up as much as we would think.
What a fun evening
Dixon saves the day for the Badgers and almost simultaneously John Henson gets the game winner at the buzzer for the Bucks and Kipnis drills a 3 run Jack for the Indians
Nebraska has another loss or two in store because they have to go to Iowa and O$U yet and the Gophers and Terps aren't complete pushovers this year.
UW needs to keep it going next week as Ryan Field has been a place many Badgers teams have gone to die. Redemption tour!!
I can't see them moving up more than 10 spots either
PS.
Go Buckeyes.
(Mouth throw-up)
Yeah, Northwestern gave Ohio State all they could handle in Columbus. The Badgers schedule is even tougher than first appeared. This is great for Hornibrook and the young guys to have to go through this grinder but I'm helping keep the antacid companies afloat.
Not sure if you go back to Hornibrook at this point- he seems to be mentally overwhelmed at this point.
The QB play is concerning. It isn't getting better. Fun ride, but eventually this is going to bite them in the ass.
Horny's last INT was so bad. I mean there was nothing there, but he was gonna throw it.
I don't think there is much of a difference between the two QB's.

I think Bucky will move up to 7. Maybe 6. If not playing well on offense hurts their chances of moving up, it also has to hurt Ohio State's ranking as they barely beat Northwestern yesterday and haven't looked to be the juggernaut, this season, that they were last year. Bucky could have beaten them this year--and probably should have. I think Ohio State is a more beatable team than Bucky is right now. GO BUCKY!!!
Both 4Q INTs were horrific and thankfully it didn't cost them the game. It's pretty rare that you turn the ball over like that late in a game and not have it come back to haunt you.
Connelly looks like next guy up stud (ironically so did Cichy at one point) and he played well. Dooley also seems to be adjusting pretty well.
I just hope Endicott hasn't developed a case of the yips because they are going to need him down the stretch
I'll give Horni a break...yes, bad pass, bad decision...but he is young and the pressure now of 4 straight games on a big national stage will do that to some good young players. But Houston, a 5th year Senior, should've known better to NEVER throw the ball in that situation. Either try to be his guy and run or just throw the ball away.

Good thing I don't bet....we'll take it.
Closer to 7th than they are to 9th, so there is that Blair Kiel
I'm still curious to see what the playoff machine says...
