Played pretty well after the first quarterβ¦.
Congratulations, Badgers! You've been cordially invited to play in the Jimmy's Hot Dog Cart Bowl on December 27th in Dust Bowl, Oklahoma.
Poulan Weedeater Bowl here we come!
FUCK YOU FICKELL. YOU SUCK BALLS.
One of the more entertaining Badger games I've seen in awhile. Considering the way it started, I was thinking a blowout was happening.
I was hoping for the Mayo again.

I remember in the early 80s when the entire Wisconsin fanbase was thrilled to be invited to the Garden State Bowl.
Yeah, I'm old.

Wasnβt it the independence bowl?

1981β¦lost to Tennessee
1 out of 4 is better than nothing. Win the national title no. Win the Big Ten no. Win the West no. Make a bowl game yes!
Remember that!

I thought Eli Lilly bought out Poulan and it was called the Jardiance Bowl.

That's not old, I remember when a Bowl game was a pipe dream.
I remember 67-69β¦was it 26 straight losses?
It was 20 some losses but there was a tie in the middle of the streak with Iowa. The Badgers finished the season something like 0-9-1 and Iowa was 1-8-1. I remember listening to the game on the radio and the Badgers had some kind of a miracle comeback to get a tie and the announcers were going off like they won the Super Bowl. John Coatta was the coach and he won 3 games in 3 seasons, the first two which were winless.
Really an entertaining game. Thought I might have to shut it down early when Nebraska went up 14-0.
Nebraska and Wisconsin are similar programs this year. Lots of hype but really sloppy inconsistent play and tons of miscues that probably resulted in at least a couple of more Ls than need be.
Was nice to see Allen gut it out and credit to Mordecai he kept them in it. Zachman also impressed me with his instincts and playmaking ability.
Beating Minnesota next week doesnβt erase the stink off this season, but it would go a long way toward building some positive momentum going into bowl season and next year.
