What's the over? I'm hoping to see Stave take a step up this week.

That's a good way to start.
Tennessee Tech blinded by the glare of their own helmets.
Morning peeps.
Nice helmets.
With the payout from today maybe T-Tech can buy a can of dullcote for those helmets.
On the plus-side, they're marketing gold if the primary Ad-Specialty distribution source is gumball machines.
Can't see their red helmets.....dang it.
Running a bit behind today.. Trying to catch up on the DVR.
Nice start! And I like the red helmets.
I can't see the game....and just heard the TD on the radio!!!
Don't mind the game on radio though, just listening to my #6 boyfriend. Matt Lepay, best announcer in college sports.
Gordon = Stud
I can't believe that guy caught Gordon!
Great defensive angle.
Stave had plenty of time there, I don't mind him waiting a bit so he could get that to Abby!
TD Bucky!!
How could that have been a Delay?
Nice recovery by the offense.
I have a mancrush for Gordon III
Damn...
TD Bucky!!!
Speed kills, day-um.
8/133 so far for Gordon.
I get it - they haven't seen anyone worth a damn so far - but holy crap. Gordon may start showing up on some national award lists if he keeps this up.
Looking forward to some real competition to see how good this running game really is. 130 Yards on 8 carries? Seriously?

Really like the look of this team so far...except for Stave. He just doesn't seem like a good fit for a Wisconsin offense, IMO. Next weeks game will be interesting...
Why? Because he can actually throw the ball?
Seems to focus and one guy often and I do prefer someone who can run a bit. Willing to ride him out and see what happens when they start playing legit teams. We'll see...
On another note, does the dark background on here bother anyone else?
Then he goes 9 for 9 throwing to 6 different receivers!
So far I think I'm OK with this Andersen guy.
I agree with Brak
Agree so far. It always seemed like Bucky struggled in a couple NC games under BB. Either sloppy or the defense got lit up...something.

I dunno, Stave looked great that 2 min 91-yd drive!!
TD Bucky!!!
I am liking Gary and his staff so far too! Better D, Better STs, and the OC is almost better than I have seen for a while and we had a good one.
I can't way until we get to B10 games, it should be VERY fun!
That was one great 2 minute drive. Make that 90 seconds.
Aside from the pick, Stave has hit guys in the intermediate passing game well. He is still a tic slow sometimes, which makes his receivers twist around a bit, but significantly better than last week. A couple of his passes hit guys in stride, if that continues to happen more, the offence should score lots of points each week. The threat of the pass (he seems fine enough with the bomb) will just make this line and these running backs salivate.
Loved the screen pass on the two minute drill.

If memory serves BA didn't fair much better in NC games.
I'm far more concerned about the WRs than I am Stave.
This is just armchair philosophizing but BB's teams seemed to be a reflection of their coach. Overly aggressive at time, free wheeling...maybe even cocky? GA seems like a solid person who runs a very tight ship. Team has reflected that so far.
Note I wasn't anti-BB...

Looks to me like Doe is starting to emerge a bit. If he can become that second guy with Abby and Pedersen at TE, suddenly those pass-catchers start to look pretty good.
Kicking issues again this season? French missed a gimme last week and now an extra point.
I blame it on the Pack keeping Crosby...
That would be great JJ. They need someone anyone to step at WR, just one guy would help a lot.
Stave now 20/23 188 yards 8.2 avg 3 tds.
I'm curious what happens when McEvoy gets more reps at WR. Coaches rave about how great of an athlete he is, combined with great size (he and Doe are complete opposite sides of the spectrum).
Damn!
Who has three backs like this?
Again, it's TennTech, but the Badgers seem to have some serious speed in a couple of spots. Gordon reminds me of a a cross between Robert Smith (good height, runs a bit high, smooth stride) and Sonic the Hedgehog.
Apparently there are no reliable kickers in Wisconsin.
Stave started slow but really finished well. Like how they are getting Doe and Pederson more involved. Pederson was a great weapon but forgotten the last two years.
The backs are just unbelievable. White is slippery as heck and stronger than he looks, Gordon is a breakaway threat every time he touches the rock, and Clement is the hammer but has underrated vision and speed. Most teams would kill to have one of these guys and they have three. Heck, Jeff Lewis doesn't get any touches and he's probably good enough to be a backup RB on a number of teams.
Conor O Neill was an animal today and our young continue to impress. The D is rock solid.
Our kickers suck but hopefully that doesn't cost them a game at some point.
