How would he appeal it? His attacking Lattimore is all on tape, plus, he has a history of this behavior. The last time he was suspended, he had attacked Lattimore! Maybe he should change his name to Mad Dog Vachon!

I was thinking more of the line of "The Fabulous Moolah!

If he didn’t speak, he’s suspended over game.

If he appeals and loses, he’s suspended one game.

If he appeals and wins (doubtful), no suspension.

Appeals are also allowed in all cars by the CBA.

Seemed like a lot of the hot weather teams in  first couple weeks did just that. 5-6 years ago the Jags opened on September 11th at home against the Pack and made them wear green. I was there. It was 189 degrees. Packers won, so fuck ‘em.

When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off against the Green Bay Packers in Week 3, they’ll be wearing white jerseys and white pants with their pewter puker helmets.  Packers will be wearing the home green uniforms.

Bucs’ DT Akiem Hicks tore the plantar fascia in his foot vs New Orleans and is now expected to be sidelined a month.

Packers #1 in the league in terms of fewest penalties...only 5 in 2 games, and 3 of them were pre-snap.

That is an underappreciated stat that will pay dividends if we continue the trend.

At this point, I am just going to assume he's out every week. I am done with my glass being half full on him.  I have a feeling GB has just moved on...

If GB was primed to take advantage of a MASH unit team, this is probably the week,,,

"We are disappointed that the league upheld a suspension when there are several arguments of players doing more egregious violations including; Punching kicking and choking players and not being suspended," Evans' representatives said in a statement.

Don't show that to Bares or Vickling fans!

Some fans have really gone to some strange and bizarre thinking in regards to Bakh and his injury.

I am curious what they are? All I heard was A. him not being fully healed yet and B. Some fans wondering if he ever would be. Of course I don’t peruse the conspiracy sites so maybe I missed something. 😉

@TomSilverstein
#Packers OT David Bakhtiari nowhere in sight as team practices in pads. He’s on an every other day schedule, but he practiced last Wednesday. Also, not practicing is WR Randall Cobb.

Ariens escaped a fine or suspension but he did get a warning for being on the sideline and jawing with Lattimore. Someone needs to find him on a sideline play and sweep the legs if he's where he's not supposed to be.

Haven't heard a whole lot of conspiracy theory about 69 but tons and tons of crying about the injury and that he will never play again. When it come to professional sports, Joe Six Pack is really generous about giving back someone else's money (player XX should take a discount) and a medical expert when it comes to someone else's injury.

Wouldn't make sense to remove Bakh from the PUP list if they expected him to return in the first 4 games of the season. Crazy thought, I know...

Jenkins being back (not Bakh)  is key. While Yosh is no Bakh, he’s a pretty damn good fill-in.

On a side note, there was that one poster, maybe TROPHIES or something, that had major wood for Nijman when the Packers signed him as a UDFA. Raved about the talent he stonewalled in his career at VaTech. Guess he was kinda right.

Yup..  That's what has me thinking he suffered a setback recently.   Wouldn't be surprised to learn that he needs more fluid drained or something like that.

Who are his reps? A 3rd grade class at the local school?

I understand teams keeping the specifics of medical issues private, but as a fan it is frustrating.  I hunted around the internet for more information on what could be the problem and there are a ton of possibilities.  I am just trying to read the tea leaves.

Fluid was obviously an issue last year, from what I read it can take months for that to resolve itself.  If this is the issue, I think its reasonable to guess it might never.

Bakh had a "procedure" late this summer.  I am guessing it wasn't to correct the ACL surgery.  If it was, the prognosis of revision surgery is very poor (not trying to be pessimistic) but I am guessing revision surgery would have resulted in more shelf time.

One issue that I see mentioned is that sometimes after ACL surgery, the new ACL is too strong for the surrounding muscles.

Also, could be something unrelated like meniscus, mcl that was not discovered earlier (unlikely) or injured during rehab.

I am interested what others with any medical or personal background have to say.

If he’d been on PUP he would have not been able to practice for at least the first four weeks, either. I am of the belief that the team and Bakh are gradually working him back as part of a plan — lots of season left.

I think the fact that they put Jenkins at RT when he returned means something. If I didn't expect 69 to return soon I would put Jenkins at LT.

Unless Yosh goes down I think Jenks stays at RT. Do you seriously want to see Newman at RT and Hanson at RG again?

Not good seeing 4 WR on the list altho I'm sure all will play.

On another note I heard brady on the radio today.   He said a suspension was rediculas and not warrented. Those things happen in football all the time.  But you can damn well bet if somebody pushes Brady like that he would be calling for a 3 game suspension.

Nope. But I'd be fine with Yosh or even Tom at RT. I want no part of those other two options.

Herman did a complete episode on it yesterday.
