Bucks up 1 after one as Giannis air balls a wide open three at the buzzer. He's 3 for 9 from the field.
Giannis misses another 10 footer. 3 for 10 and nothing outside of three dunks has looked close.
Bucks up 63-62 despite horrifically bad 3 point defense. They allow the Bulls to shoot 12 for 23 from three - many of them wide open.
Bulls pull ahead out of the half. DeRozan with 5 points and Giannis splits a pair at the line. Bucks down 5.
The Bulls really have Giannis out of rhythm
Now Giannis picks up 2 fouls in about 20 seconds and has to sit with 4 in the middle of the third.
Nwora with a horrible game so far.
Bucks down 6 and the game is getting away from them.
Bud leaves a Lopez, Hill, COnnaughton, Hill, and Portis lineup in and the Bucks can't even get off a shot in multiple trips down with that group.
12-4 after Giannis had to sit.
DeRozan with 28 and on his way to a 40+ night.
Down 7 after three as even Holiday gets lit up by DeRozan.
Down 9 and then Giannis splits a pair of FTS.
Giannis gets going and then puts up an air ball from 18 feet.
Giannis air balls a FT. He's not bad tonight, 6 for 9. But those air balls are weird.
Bucks go back ahead and then have two consecutive turnovers to fall back behind.
Brook Lopez misses 2 FTs in a row after Holiday misses the back end of the previous FTs. Bucks 4 for 9 from the line in the 4th and Giannis isn't the problem.
And now Lopez air balls a 3
Come White hits two wide open 3s in a row and the Bulls are up 3 with 40 seconds left. The Bucks 3 point defense was poor all night and it came back to bite them.
Game over. Jrue Holiday throws the ball of out bounds and the Bulls get the ball.
Bad loss. Bucks give up 18 3s.
Not a good game defensively and turned the ball over a bunch. Chicago was making their 3s.
Bulls hit their 3s. Bucks offensive execution the last 3 minutes was terrible. Lopez misses two FTs. Lopez air ball. Giannis charge. Holiday lobs the ball out of bounds after a timeout. About as bad as it gets.
Bucks with 18 turnovers.
Fire Budπ
Probably their worst loss of the season so far. A lot of sloppy play and poor execution toward the end of the game (turnovers, missed FTs, shot selection) and I think Chicago made their last 4 bombs to close it out.
Itβs a bit surprising because the Bucks had 13 more boards than Chicago, but were also -5 in the turnover ratio. Still, A couple more made 3s by the Bucks (or made free throws) and the Bucks probably win this one.
The margin of error for a team like Chicago is much less because they donβt play good defense and they donβt rebound well. Basically, for them to beat Milwaukee they need to hit a bunch of 3s which they did last night but over a 7 game series? Not likely.
