I haven't had a chance to chime in on last week's game yet, but I have to say that game made me feel Grrrrrrrrreat!  It always feels good to beat the Bares.  In terms of losses, we haven't been in this situation for awhile, but I have to say, I have a greater appreciation for wanting to win even if you think you're out of the playoffs.  Watching that game, I didn't care where we're going the rest of the season, it just feels good to win.  I can't fathom tanking for a draft pick.

Can't wait until next the next game.

It won't be "Purdy" I can tell you that.  He was just an OK QB at Iowa State.  Or was it Iowa?  I forget.  But I've seen him play a few times.

If his O-line brocks well in the passing game, he'll be fine.

Important games this week:

Falcons losing to the @Saints.

@Caridnals losing to the Patriots.

@Lions losing to the Vikings.

@Giants losing to the Eagles.

@49ers losing to the Buccs.

@Seahawks losing to the Panthers.

This would eliminate the NFC South from the last Wild Card spot with the Falcons and Cardinals getting to 9 losses (plus they play each other in Week 17, so they will both be out regardless of this week).

This would also eliminate the Lions from the last Wild Card (assuming the Packers win out thus beating the Lions and pushing them to 9 losses).

Still, I hate to see Minnesota win any game.

So you're picking Detroit?

If I were making picks, yeah. I'd take Detroit. I just see the Vikings run of luck running out soon. Detroit is rated higher than Minnesota in just about every variable other than W-L record.

I'd rather see them tease themselves a bit more before they bite the dust.
