If Ragland is gone. Vernon Butler tonight. Jaylon Smith in round 2. I've changed my mind on DL in round one so many times. Maybe Reed slips enough to make the pick a little easier. Going to be crazy watching round 1 unfold.
I strongly doubt Ragland falls to 27. Probably will be Billings or Clark, maybe Robinson as a sleeper.
While hoping for Vernon Butler, Billings, or Ragland, The Albino Assasin will pull the three finger shocker - Emmanuel Ogbah
...or trade back and go Su'a Cravens.
Ragland, Billings, Clark, Butler, Reed, or Conklin.
I'm all in on Reggie Ragland either at 27 or via trade up (possibly with Washington at 21).
Ragland is gone and Butler is the pick.
I'm having a tough time convincing myself Ragland will not be a Packer. I'm trying. Very hard. But then GD pulls the trade up card and I get sucked right back in.
Vernon Butler, if he's still there.
If TT waits until round 2 for a DL, I'll call Jihad Ward. That's if he takes Jason Spriggs or a Pass Rusher at 27 w/ Butler, Reed and Robinson all off the board.
27th pick?

Not sure if that would cause the Packers to balk at him or not. I say he will either be gone or they will pass and go with A'shawn Robinson
Billings. Mark it down.
The Vikings forget to pick anybody and we get Ragland!
Player I'd love to see in GB but probably won't has too much heart. Because of course he does.
The ILB out of Alabama has become my personal white whale.

They are a very cautious organization when it comes to medical issues. I think they will pass because of that if he is there.
TT will trade into the second round with the Titans.

or with New England
There are so damn many good DL prospects at the bottom of round 1. One of them is going to be better than the rest. How do you identify that guy? Ridgeway might end up being great. I'd hate to be the guy tasked with making that call.

Why would the Titans trade up? Their best bet is if someone wants to leap frog AZ/DEN/KC for Cook.
NFL.com had 34 total draftees with a grade of 6.0 or above.....16 of them were defensive lineman.

Make it up with volume.
Don't really care, just want them to play, do their job, contribute, and be thankful they're in the NFL. Oh, and anyone watching the red carpet stuff?? OMGosh....when did draft day have A RED CARPET OPENING????
Oh, forgot to add.....when the NFL does their promos for the draft show tonight....they NEVER SHOW johnny football. Everyone else is shown, but not him. I wonder why.
oldschool is not the father.

Trade down and pick Vernon Butler rnd 2.
20 minutes to draft time, I'm sticking with Ragland but I will throw out a darkhorse:
MSU DL Chris Jones
He has the size, the length, the pass rush ability, the versatility and the overall upside. The Packers have talked to him (they've talk to Ragland twice) also. Jones hasn't put together consistently solid tape, but when he's good he's DOMINANT.
Ragland is a football player first and foremost. He's the pick if he's there.
Yes, Jones has perhaps the highest ceiling of any of the d-lineman
Whomever we take wherever Uncle Ted will say the player was at the top of their board.
Ragland or Darron Lee in the 1st, Veron Butler or Chris Jones in the 2nd, Jaylon Smith in the 3rd.

After the Worthy experience I hope they avoid any DL from MSU.
Plus I loathe them.
Jones is from Mississippi St., not Michigan St.
TT Drafts DL at #27, trades backup into R1 with next year's R1 to take Jaylon Smith.
and wow....3 top tens picks from The Ohio State University ........ and who says the big ten isn't NFL worthy. JMHO.
Day 2 shot call. Deion Jones LB - LSU in round 2. Hassan Ridgeway DT - Texas Round 3.
Day 2 shot call, same as the first - another large body please! If TT decides to acquire another 2nd round pick via trade then a LB is possible. I know this cuz I know nothing. TGIF!
