Mr. Robot lost me in season 1 with the dad/sister scenario and Frankie Shaw leaving the cast. For some reason it felt like it became a cheap Fight Club knockoff at that point.

Other than taking most of the season/movie to figure out WTF was going on... I don't see the correlation. Who cares about an actor, it's about the story, and IMO it's relevant, accurate, and interesting. There isn't much media today that you can say is anything close to that kind of presentation.
I was a bit confused with the beginning of this season, but I just watched last week's episode and finally had to WTF when I realized there still wasn't a commercial and I needed a new beverage. That was 45 minutes in.
Your loss if you haven't kept watching. It is quality TV.
I didn't watch 1 second of the game, but I did like the thread title plus some of the witty thread replies.
