Can Packers go Undefeated?

no. I highly doubt they sweep the division... but if they do they'll be outta control good.

Can they? Sure, it's physically possible. Will they? Almost no chance. There's a reason it's only been done once - the league is too even for that type of dominance anymore. As we saw yesterday, GB will be getting the A game of every team on their schedule all season. They'll lose at least 3 times.
The Packer offense can put up 50+ on any team in the NFL.
If the modern NFL and FA world it is almost impossible for TT to put any more weapons on that offense.
It has been that way for at least the last 3 seasons.
The fact that they often look average to poor sometimes and fail to flat out outscore the opposition at other times is my biggest current criticism of MM.

No, just because too many teams have the Packers in their crosshairs.
Nope and that kind of talk in the locker room gets you beat. I want the packers striving to go undefeated but by realistic.

Can they? When firing on all cylinders the offense is unstoppable and the defense is enough to keep them in games so the offense can win it. I doubt they do (go undefeated) as the defending SB champions they have a target on their backs this year.
Nice to hear this kind of talk in the media, but I'd be very surprised if this is occurring in the locker room.

The "problem" with winning the Super Bowl IMO is that every team you face is going to be giving it their 110% to beat you and play you in their own version of the SB.
Carolina played their asses off yesterday and gave it everything they got. I just don't think you will see an easy game. And the Bears, Lions, and Vikings will do all they can to beat GB.
I thought I read that GB will play 2 home games in 67 days. We have a lot of road games to start. No matter who you play, that's never easy.

#1 there is no such thing as 110% effort. I think most years every team wants to beat GB. Not because of the SB win. Realistically the Pack could win 13 or 14 regular season games. But, a SB Win is the goal
I think to go undefeated you have to catch the league by surprise and throw something at them that they didn't plan for having to defend. The 2007 Patriots did that...no one was 3/4 deep with really good CBs so there was always at least 1 receiver that burned the opposing team on almost every play.
The Packers don't offer anything unique offensively or defensively, they just do what they do really well. There will be an off game though, there always is.

IMO the combination of Rodgers, Jennings, Driver, Nelson, Jones, Cobb, Finley, Starks and Grant is unique.
You could get a mismatch on Finley on 90% of the offensive snaps.
Throw in Kuhn and Quaraless....

Nah. As others have said, every team will be gunning for them. Also, they're bound to have an off week where, unlike yesterday, they aren't able to get away with dicking around for half the game.
The more realistic conversation might be whether they can win 13 or 14 games and be the top seed.

Right now I just want them to go 3-0 and beat the bears. One week at a time folks, but I voted no. Sooner or later there will be an oops game or two. Just not against the bears please.

Packers have a bullseye on them and even more: teams have all their playoff tape. Then as if that's not enough, you've got players like Jennings telling the press exactly what he's thinking on given plays, and exactly his thinking on running routes, and the rest of the receivers yakking it up on how they check down to the back shoulder throws, etc. They're falling straight into the Super Bowl hype with that stuff. They think no one can stop them.
Then they come out against the Panthers and can't even move the chains to start the offense. Coincidentally or not, all the receivers are covered. This after the defense comes out looking completely uninspired and unprepared. And we all know Mathews isn't sneaking up on anyone.
Packers are due a massive wake-up call. If Woodson hadn't been there to turn the game around, yesterday would have been it. I hope they got the message.

I think they have a great shot at losing next week, let alone all year. I don't know if it's the injuries to the secondary, the lack of pass rush, or playing down to the level of lesser teams...but both games so far have come down to onside kicks...say what you want about how good the Saints are, GB handled them most of the game once they got the early lead. The Packers rarely seem to have that killer instinct to put a team down and not let them up.
I believe the defense will get its act together, but I really thought we wouldn't see such nailbiting games so often again this season. The fact that they are 2-0 gets me wondering if the mindset will be one of just getting by, and "turning it on" when they need to.

You really think opposing defensive coordinators aren't aware of these tendencies without Jennings saying it?
"Teams will be gunning for them" is a weak excuse. Maybe they will, but they also have a psychological advantage in being the champs. If they get up early on teams it should be easier to break their spirits. The Patriots regular season juggernaut had a pretty big target on their heads, but for the most part teams gave up against them because they didn't think they could win.
I don't think the Pack will go undefeated, but looking at the schedule, it's not like there are a ton of really difficult games. I think it's more a question of statistics/probability than some "every team's Super Bowl" factor.

Very big game already this weekend. Bears coming off of a loss and still bitter from losing to Green Bay. RBs out of the backfield have had a field day against the Packers, so Forte is who we need to shut down. Also, find a way to put pressure on Cutler.

I'm with Free Safety. They should be scoring 40-50 points a game. Finley said they should score everytime they have the ball and didn't crack a smile. They know & they believe.
