That's an interesting theory about Flynn. Is it possible, that McKenzie and TT have had discussions about Flynn and possible trade scenariois? Would McKenzie (knowing the inside and out) of the GB organization, and Flynn push a hard bargain, or would it be a friendlier trade for both teams?
There's been all this talk about what to do with Flynn. Some have suggested a Tag/Trade situation, but all parties would have to be on the same page. McKenzie knows the situation, and so does TT, then it is just informing and getting buy-in from Flynn? I'm not saying this woule be easy, but having McKenzie in a management position would seem to be a good thing for TT, IF the possibility of a Tag/Trade exisits?

Not to be a wiseass here but exactly where does the Packers defense rank this year under Capers? last I heard they were not performing like a Super Bowl defending champion defense is expected to after a playing so good last year, dont tell me that losing one very good defensive lineman to the Eagles is the reason they sank like a rock in total defense this year, blame always starts at the top and works down,a million dollar raise? not if TT sees what we all see every game.

We also lost Collins early in the year, but your point is valid.....something's very different about the way the Pack is playing D this year as opposed to last year.

I think all the replacements last year had something to do with it. It's a hidden advantage the D had with all those injuries. Sounds crazy but here's my two cents: opposing OC's had a tougher time gameplanning for our D because of the consistent presence of new faces. It's tough to gameplan for guys you don't have tape on (new guys in a new D) and can't recognizes tendencies for - kind of like the rookie splash effect. It's another reason guys like Walden and Green have settled back down to their average this year. They performed very well in spot duty and they and their coaches deserve tons of praise for it. But now that OC's have enough film to start picking them apart, they are.

I agree that losing Collins and Jenkins are the biggest reason but not the only reason. It also doesn't help to have the SB target on your back every week.

I'll buy that...it makes sense to me.

And thanks for the welcome, guys. Rest assured, I'm not an alias. Just a Packers fan who's excited about being in the playoffs again!!

Capers comment on facing the Vagiants the 2nd time around:

Dom Capers' eyes twinkled when he heard the question.

"What did I learn?" he said, repeating a reporter's question about the previous meeting between the Packers and the Giants. "I learned you can't give up big plays. They've got big-play people. They have those kinds of capabilities with their people. We had three balls go over the top of us and all three led to points."
