Gavin MacLeod, whose memorable TV roles include Murray Slaughter on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Merrill Stubing, captain of the Pacific Princess on The Love Boat, has died at the age of 90.
MacLeod had a buttload of supporting performances on both TV and the movies, from dramas like I Want to Live! to comedies like Bing Crosby's High Time, and war movies like Kelly's Heroes; this last movie will be on TCM at 2:15 PM tomorrow as part of TCM's Memorial Day salute.
