Whoever is doing color commentary on the Westwood One broadcast is pretty damn laid back.

I noticed that.

The play-by-play guy, however, is about a million times better than the usual guy, who is obsessed for no reason I can imagine with informing us whether the offense is moving "left to right" or "right to left," which is stupid and drives me nuts.

It's a fugly game.  Wow.  Baaaaaaaaaaad Ootball.

Thanks for letting me know.

I forgot there was a game as I decided I had better things to do earlier this week when I saw the snoozer matchup between 1-3 teams and figured the biggest storyline would be whether a guy with an IQ of a kumquat kneeled for the national anthem or not.

Pistol,

Had to laugh at your comment. The San Antonio Spurs radio announcer is great, but he also has to tell me that "the Spurs are moving from left to right across your radio dial".  I usually don't watch the radio dial, so this is not helpful.  Sometimes I try to mess the game up by making a u-turn in my car, but they don't even stop play.  Weird.

I went to bed before I heard them announce themselves.  Play-by-play was Ian Eagle, who is good (hell, he's even done tennis), while color was apparently Mike Holmgren!  (He does a halftime thing on one of the primetime games for Westwood One, and I'd guess they needed a pinch hitter this week thanks to the game in London requiring an extra crew.)

I enjoy James Lofton's color commentary, too.
