Bucky a little lethargic so far.

Man, injuries piling up.
Cats moving down the field.
This so far has all the makings of 'that game' Bucky has every season.
Good grief.
There we go!
Pick!
That's more like it!
Boy, some of his runs remind me of Dayne.
Dammit, Allen limping now.
Mertz going to have to make a play with his arm.
That'll work.
Yes!
Much better, Mertz!
Bucky is playing with fire, with riding Allen like this. Would like to see Davis run some right here . Northwestern is either 13th or 14th in run defense
Mertz actually lo looking like a game manager? Who knew
Who is that wearing #5 out there? Three straight darts
MertzâĶHeisman?
And the rout is on....
Got to give this Badger team credit. Players and coaches have remained calm and turned it around.
If Mertz plays half this well earlier, they definitely beat Penn State and they might have beat Notre Dame. Heck, all he had to do was handoff correctly vs. PSU and they win.
This doesn't even look like the same guy. His throwing motion, stepping up, reading coverages; it's all improved.

And as soon as I say that, the old Mertz costs them 3 points.
< sigh >
They might be Citrus Bowl material, and thatâs not bad. Outside chance of NY6 bowl, and who wouldâve thought that given the start they had.
Old Mertz shows up at the time they are just about to put Northwestern away.
Can Vujnovich hold?
One absolutely freak play gets Northwestern 50 yards and it's about to be a game again.
Ouch.
Pretty good throw on the blitz from Mertz for the TD.
If Braelon Allen could declare for the draft at 18, he'd probably be a mid-round pick next year.
He's good. Now let him rest for the remainder of the game.
It doesn't matter overall, but it still sucks for your defense to lose a shutout because of a fumble from a guy that started the season 6th on your RB depth chart.
Announcer just said the Badger fumble was a âhugeâ break for Northwestern.
Itâs 35-7âĶ
Thatâs why youâre behind Brady Schipper on the depth chart.
Davis ugh there goes the shutout
Schipper actually looked pretty decent today
You have to remember a couple of things with Allen
1) he just turned 18
2) heâs only been playing running back for like a year
His vision and footwork will only get better
Braelon is a beast.
They said not 18 until January.
Whoops heâs still 17
And Davis and Acker need to hang onto the goddamn ball
