In the 4th, Bucks down big. Just a horrific offensive game from Dame, Middleton, and Lopez who are a combined 13 for 46 and 2 for 17 from three.

Giannis is 9 for 12. The rest of the team is 22 for 65 on a lot of wide open shots generated by Giannis - who has 9 assists and probably should have 15.
Dame has really sucked tonight.

Bucks make a little run then Dame with a terrible turnover and no effort on defense or on a box out. Even a mild degree of effort might have been helpful
Terrible game tonight.
😕
Something has to give - you cannot have Beasley playing nearly 30 minutes and scoring 3 points. I know Khris and Dame were off, but the only reason Beasley is there is to take 3pt shots. Defensively, you cannot have both Dame and Beasley on the court together anymore. You just can’t.
The Bucks have a decision to make - either start Jackson Jr at the 2 or make a move to go out and get a defensive minded guy. I’m pretty sure Jackson Jr. can give you 3 points in 30 minutes and unlike Beasley won’t give up 20. Jackson Jr. Is also a competent rebounder and has length to disrupt passing lanes. I know he’s a rookie but he’s had some moments this year so it’s not like he can’t be a role guy.
Cleveland is an interesting team and now that they are getting healthy they could be a little dangerous down the stretch. I’m not sure I’d want to play them if I’m Milwaukee or Boston or Philly.
Another kick in the shorts is Sam Merrill - remember him? He’s coming off the bench for the Cavs and averaging close to 10PPG while shooting 43% from 3. He’s also a 90% FT shooter. And he’s like their 5th option at guard. That used to be Pat Connaughton, or Pat was a slightly better version of that guy. Not to mention the immortal Grayson Allen is having a pretty good season and is one of the league leaders in 3pt %.
