You just wonder and hope there’s not an injury issue going on with Giannis.  I agree he hasn’t looked the same recently for some reason.

Overall, the team just seemed to not want to play this one.  Maybe because of Knicks tonight who knows.  But Boston shot the lights out.

If Marcus Smart goes 7 for 10 from 3 (including several contested ones), it's not going to be your night. He was 2 for 10 the game before.

He's a 32% career shooter from there and his questionable shot selection is one of the reasons the Celtics are struggling this year. He's a shorter player that plays great defense because of his overall strength, makes a lot of terrible offensive decisions, and often jacks up shots that have you scratching your head. He should have a Pat Connaughton role on a good team, but he makes 14 million a year. He also gets even worse on offense in the playoffs.

In other words, the Bucks lost a game last night in which a guy who is basically Eric Bledsoe got hot. These guys were all stars in college. A secondary guy going off to beat you happens a few games every year. You expect Tatum and Kemba to have games like they did last night. The Bucks were missing both Tucker and Portis which meant they had no one other than Thanasis to play behind Lopez (who was terrible last night), Giannis played poorly, and Kemba and Tatum both went off. Despite all that, if Marcus Smart plays a normal game, it still goes down to the wire.
