Conversely, Morgan Burnett turns, locates ball & keeps TE from catching it, yet that's a penalty.
I can't figure out how the Packers defense left Atlanta, got to Foxboro, & put the Steelers uni on so quickly.

Yeah that was one of the worst calls I've seen.
Ryan never looked for the ball there. No call.

Maybe shut things down for a day or two. Decompress. Your kind of a mess right now.
A lot of years the Conference Championship games end up being way better than the Super Bowl. Sure wasn't the case this year although the SB could also still suck.

Really? I think my posts have been totally rational.

There is no doubt the best football game of the 2016 season happened last weekend. Everything after has been very anti-climactic.
Maybe the Super Bowl will surprise, but I doubt it.
Pats 38 Falcons 28 in a yawner

NE opens -3
Saw that. I'm surprised it opened that big for NE.
I thought the Pats might be as high as a 6 point favorite, what with all their experience. The Falcons defense is not any good.
There was really only 1 good game this post season, and it was in part because the Packers squandered a big lead.
The Patriots left plenty of open steeler receivers tonight until the red zone. I think the Falcons are much better off in this situation than the Steelers. It was no fluke they kicked 6 FG's against KC.

Those were two very similar looking defensive performances. No pressure and soft coverage.

I think so too Boss. I just don't think the Falcons D can hang with the Pats O and even though they may put up a few points, NE's D is going to make them work a lot harder for them. I think the Pats big game experience will also come into play while the Falcons will be a little star struck and unfocused. I don't have a dog in the fight so I'd personally like to see a good game but I'm not holding my breath.
If Falcons win, will be so awkward to see Goodell hand Lombardi Trophy to Arthur Blank after taking away 5th-round pick for pumping in noise

Much more awkward for Goodell to hand Kraft and Brady another trophy after this last year.
Not really, Goodell and Kraft are very close. Kraft blames the lawyers and not Goodell for how it all ended up.

That's the first I've heard this claim. Fans around NE blame Goodell. Irony, Brady has thrown the ball much better now than before this incident.
Right. I'm sure Brady blames the lawyers too and has no ill will toward Rodge either.

I've read this from Andrew Brandt in the past, and he mentioned it again last night.
Relationship between Krafts and Goodell not as frosty as some think. They compartmentalize well. And Krafts blame the lawyers (of course).

The two hottest teams coming into the playoffs where the Steelers and the Packers.
PIT - winners of 9 straight were playing their 12 straight game without a week off when they got boat-raced in the title game. They were 4-1 and lost 4 straight before starting their run.
GBP - winners of 8 straight were playing their 16 straight game without a week off when they got boat-raced in the title game. They were 4-2 and lost 4 straight before starting their run.
I thought the most ominous stat H5 posted the day before the game was AR's record vs. Quinn's defenses. Not that AR was completely shut down or forced into throwing because of of the 0-17 but ATL did manage to hit him and pressure him enough to screw up his rhythm.
Unless the Packers got 2 or more of the potential FIVE turnovers they had a shot at, they were never going to win that game with that Packer defense giving it up like a 2 bit whore
Dom Capers defense. Illustrated.
That vid. is funny as hell Chilli!
I stand corrected. (Hangs head in shame)
What gets me is the blanket stupidity of some of the D calls. I cannot get out of my mind the third and four with the SLOW TE split out wide right and a 10-yard cushion. Are the DBs and DC not even thinking? Are they so fearful of avoiding the big play that they concede the first down. I sometimes wonder what Matt Ryan was thinking as he looked at this....
You think too much about this game. Leave it in the past.
Re-watch the game vs. Dallas. That's the real Packers. Real Packers didn't show up on Championship Sunday
Some of the Real Packers did show up
Yes, the Dallas game was a display of the real Packers. An efficient, creative and explosive offense needing game ending heroics to offset the effects of Capers and his defense.
Well said.
They still won the game & beat the #1 seed in the process.
I want Dom gone as much as anyone else but they did win that game when not very many people gave them a chance.
They won in spite of Dom.
Not many people gave them a chance because of the way the defense plays, not because of the team as a whole.
Media never really bought into GB after the 4-6 start. Giants were supposed to beat them. Dallas was supposed to beat them. Atlanta was supposed to beat them. Offense finally couldn't cover Dom's mess.
