Giannis’ line score tonight is absolutely ridiculous.

First impression: only 26 points? Eg, not bad, but not the explosion I was expecting after a bad loss.

Then my eyes glanced at the rest of his stats.

14 for 14 at the line. 16 rebounds, 6 assist, 2 steals and 4 blocks. +25.

And Jrue heard us complaining on X4. Not a single turnover tonight.

32 of 37 (86.5%) from the charity stripe is much more like it. And the Bucks dominated the boards, 62 to 41.

Charlotte was only one game below .500 coming into the night. The Bucks handled their business. Now, can they build some momentum off of this win?

That's obviously a big test. I think Miami has to be the favorite to come out of the East right now. I don't trust the Nets or Sixers key guys to stay healthy. Embiid is a time bomb in terms of his health and the Nets will go as far as Durant's health allow them.

With the exception of the playoff series last year, Miami has always given the Bucks, and specifically Giannis, problems. The playoff series last year was a sweep, but it was a little misleading because it really came down to one player getting hot on offense and Adebayo disappearing on offense for them. Middleton hit a shot to win Game 1 at home at the buzzer, but then the Bucks swept the last three games big with Bryn Forbes going 16 for 30 from three.

Adebayo will not be shut down like that again (especially without Lopez) and the Bucks bench right now is horrendously bad, especially on the offensive end.

Adebayo gives Giannis problems and letting Tucker go still remains the dumbest decision of the decision (maybe the dumbest/cheapest decision of the Horst era).
