In the NFC, the team that reaches the Super Bowl will have to get past the Saints (Brees), Seahawks (Wilson), Packers, Panthers (a healthy Newton), Cowboys (Prescott), and Eagles (Wentz). That's not even mentioning the Niners and Vikings. Besides Prescott, that's 4 QBs that have gotten their teams to Super Bowls (plus Wentz and Prescott).

In the AFC, assuming Mahomes comes back in a month healthy, it's going to be the Chiefs playing at Foxboro in the AFC championship. It's almost like the Patriots will have a bye before that. The other playoff teams right now would be the Bills (Allen as QB), Ravens (Jackson), Colts (Brisset), and Texans (Watson). Not a single one of those teams have a QB that's ever won a playoff game.

I think the Colts & Ravens will surprise this year.

Chiefs should've beaten Pats last year. Complete bullshit RTP call on Brady.

Don't sleep on Texans.

I just want to point out --

Darnold tried to get the Pats the INT record after 7 games. Pats now have 18 INT's in 7 games.

Anyone (without Googling!) Know which defense has the INT record after 7 games?

(I'll Post answer in a couple hours)

They gave the answer during the game.

They did....and the answer is.

The 1996 Green Bay Packers defense had 20 INT's in the first 7 games.

I honestly believe the Pats defense gets gashed big time by Lamar Jackson. Colts with a former Patriot at QB. Texans w/Watson & oh BTW... the Chiefs & Mahomes once he's healthy.

Even last night I saw Jets WR's open -- Darnold was so bad last night under & over throwing receivers along with 4 INT's

The real challenge this year in the NFC is quite honestly any of the top 6 teams are capable of beating each other.

If you are the 3 or 4 seed do you want to play a team like Seattle or Minnesota or Green Bay in the first week of the playoffs?

Even the top 2 seeds will have to play really good teams in the NFC to advance to the Super Bowl.

Assuming New England gets the top seed in the AFC who is going to beat them at home?  Maybe a healthy KC from last year but that’s about it.

The Patriots have that many turnovers because they are a good defense that got to play several of the worst teams in the NFL over the last decade. The Redskins, Dolphins, and Jets (when Falk was the starting QB in the first game) are historically bad. Other than Big Ben who threw 1 interception, every other QB has been inexperienced and/or terrible.

The Packers created that many turnovers because they had one of the best DLs in NFL history (Reggie, S. Dotson, G. Brown, and Sean Jones). They played some journeyman QBs in that stretch (Dilfer, R. Peete, S. Humphries, and Rick Mirer) but also went against Warren Moore and David Krieg. A lot better competition than who the Patriots have seen.

In the next collective bargaining agreement the NFLPA should argue that any team with 6 straight losing seasons gives up their franchise. The owner is rendered powerless. The players are dumped into a supplement draft before the draft and the stadium is demolished for an Amazon distribution facility.

Nothing beats a deadline.

Was there a reason you stated 6 straight instead of five?

Also....Pat's up 33-0 & Billy B tries to take delay of game. Declined. So he has a guy intentionally false start, penalty also declined.

Uh huh....real jeeeenyous there Billy Boy. Shoulda held that ace up your sleeve come playoff time instead of blowing it on a regular season game vs. the hapless Jets.

You could seriously run the clock out with false start penalties. I hope someone uses it against him.
