Agree. The scheme dates back to the late 90’s
If your players can't get 3 inches, its not the head coaches fault.
The defense is absolutely decimated by injuries right now, especially in the secondary. And a lack of pass rush is making that all the more difficult to cover up.
We are missing a few pieces on offense, too, but the play calling has to be more creative. Can't blame Cobb and Allison being out for vanilla play calling.
