...because it's playoff football.

should be a good one! nice way to kick off the weekend. I think I'll take the Chiefs but Houston's defense should give them a decent chance
Is JJ Watt good? I feel like the pregame hasn't really discussed this

HO LEE BALLS!
BANG!
Boom.
Janis, make a note.
this KC team doesn't look like the one we played this year.
Lotta points left on the field there by KC
A little too cute there.
JJ in the backfield reminded me of Peppers at TE....Fail
Clownball!
Loading up the jumbo package shows a little offensive imagination, which is a nice twist, though the throwing option was gone.
Hoyer, oy vay!
Boy Hoyer sucks. Throw late over the middle of the field on the 3 yard line. A high school QB would get benched for that.
They should just let JJ Watt play QB and air it out. At least we know why they felt the need to run a trick play with Watt and Wilfork.
for all our pissing and moaning, putting Clay Matthews under center is still not our best chance to score a touchdown.
Mercilus, best football name since Johnny Blood?

They'd both be good TEs if they played there full time. Peppers was a very good basketball player at UNC. He was an NBA level prospect who was key player for a Final 4 team.
Check out this highlight from UNC. There is no way this guy isn't an All-Pro TE in the NFL if he'd have focused on that.
Watt started out as a TE in college.

Mike Pennel though...
To restate the obvious, Hoyer is god awful.
7 of 14 for 61 yards and three interceptions.
Bold move by Bill O'Brien starting 2009 Playoff Jake Delhomme
Manning's broken several of Favre's records this year. If Hoyer isn't benched I think the legendary 6 interception playoff game against St. Louis could be threatened.
LOL. Houston calls timeout with KC having a 3rd and 2 near midfield? Must be trying to ensure Hoyer throws 4 picks in a half?

Even #12 is usually better
Having said all this, Kansas City only has 13 points. It has the feeling of the NFC Championship game last year where the Packers were up 16-0 at half, but it should have been a lot more. Lucky for the Chiefs, they are playing Brian HOyer.

Yes it does
Houston still has everything they want in front of them
You have to take him out of the game, right? Run wildcat or get in punt formation for every play?

They do what they do
Love the way Macklin runs away from the defender instead of into him...ground breaking stuff
Houston could actually have a pretty good team if they would ever get a real QB.
They've farted around for how many years now?
Seems KC has Maclin out, Charles out, a reshuffled OL, a game manager at QB and they are tossing a shutout on the road....looks like we have a shot tomorrow!
And... Remember that time Houston made the playoffs?
13:09 left until I don't have to listen to Gruden for 9 months.

Outside of Carr ( and Wilson) they haven't been in a great position to pick one without reaching mightily.
Did Gruden just tell Tirico he's going to miss him?
Is he leaving the both, I've seen he's "interested" in the Philly job.

GB?
Dear God no. Just no.

ESPN is covering the Pro Bowl. You might have another opportunity.
We'll always wonder how different things might have turned out had Ron Wolf done what he almost certainly wanted to do in 1999 and hired Andy Reid instead of Ray Rhodes. It was pretty likely that he didn't hire Reid only because they were worried about what would have happened had they passed up Sherman Lewis to hire his subordinate.
Probably would have won another title with Favre.
I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS POST GAME COVERAGE........
