To me "emotional" and "intelligence" don't seem to go together.  If that is true maybe the Eagles problems don't start with Kelley.

Also, Kelly with the Titans - as what?  OC - would he be happy?  He would be able to change scheme, but why would a HC want to do that in mid-stream?  HC - he would want final say over personnel - already demonstrated in Philly.  I don't think he is a fit - on the surface anyway.

He'd be HC, and apparently told Glazer he prefers NFL over college, and would not expect personnel control at his next stop. Given the huge amount of openings anticipated, I expect he'll be an NFL HC next year.

I didn't read it that way.

I read it more as he doesn't let his emotions get in the way and/or cloud/affect his intelligence

He'd be HC, and apparently told Glazer he prefers NFL over college, and would not expect personnel control at his next stop........for at least 2 years.   I doubt any owner or current GM will trust him any longer.  He can say he doesn't want to be a HC and personnel man too, but his actions in Philly proved otherwise.

Why anyone would bring this guy in as a head coach is beyond me. Have all the owners been living in a cave for the last 3 years? You have to completely change your players to fit his scheme.

Which makes the Bradford choice (trade) all the more weird. Give the guy a shot with 'one of his types.' Mariotta, Kaep, RGIII. Would be fun to see how it played out.
