Some might say, "Oh, look, the Vikings got their lawyers involved."  Don't underestimate this move.  These two attorneys are some of the best known, best in the business types from the state of Minnesota and beyond.  

I'm looking forward to how this plays out.

This monkey poop fight is going to get crazy quickly unless Kluwe's uhterknee manages to convince him to zip it.  All good fun for us, though.  I'm sure there are some pretty ****ed up stories to be told from inside that ****hole.

I really liked Chris Kluwe until I followed him on Twitter. What a whiny baby. HOWEVER, looks like it is time to renew old acquaintances.

Saving this one for later.

Kluwe loses lots of credibility in his accusations by:

1: Recently stating the vikes lied to him about making the report on the incident public and giving him a copy. This was proven false, even Kluwe's lawyer wanted the report kept private. and,

2: Alledgedly Kluwe made fun of the Sandusky child molestation case by cutting/ripping a hole in his shorts and claiming to be a Sandusky victim as some kind of joke.

PFT is non stop Kluwe on all of this which is where I read the aforementioned.

This mess for the queens is hilarious to watch unfold. What a distraction as Training Camp is about to start. Now they will have another excuse for their ineptitude and failure this year, they can just blame it all on the Kluwe distractions.

I like him too in doses. Still, anyone who helps contribute to burning the Vikings franchise to the ground is a good egg in my book.

He can be, but in between the laughs there is a whole lot of whining.

Two players in question are apparently Tavaris Jackson and Sidney Rice.

Who are now both seasquawks, how appropriate & fitting.

I was watching NFL network the other night and they had a half hour for each team for the 2013 season.  They were playing the Vikings segment.  For a team that went 5-10-1 last year and was dead last in the NFC North, they made them out to be unstoppable on offense and a steel curtain on defense.  They must have showed the same six plays that gained more than 10 yards several times.  After 10 minutes I couldn't take it anymore and found something else to watch. 

Those vikes have failed 53 times in a row ...

but  they always excel in the offseason

I think Kluwe is hilarious, but I think he's just having a tantrum because he got cut. He got cut because in the eyes of the Vikings (which is the only opinion that matters in this case) his performance wasn't matching his salary and they believed they could find a younger, better, and cheaper option (which they did). I don't like the Vikings, but that seems pretty above board and normal for the NotForLong. I find it hard to believe he was cut for his beliefs or his activism, NFL teams (even stupid ones) will put up with A LOT of crap if the player is talented enough (including covering up felonies like getting caught with an underage girl) . If you're not performing well then your salary better be low and you better keep your head down. Kluwe wasn't performing poorly IMO, but he wasn't justifying his salary. Brendan Ayanbadejo (sp?) has been as active with championing gay rights as Kluwe, but he's still active because he performs well and isn't expensive. It's all about money. If supporting gay rights would guarantee the NFL more money then you better believe they would have their players wearing rainbow helmets for a whole month!

Kluwe likes to poke sticks and the best part is that we all know with great certainty that no matter what the vikes do- they will make the wrong choice in how to handle this. Its a given

You're absolutely right. They've already begun handling it poorly. Engaging in mudslinging with a guy who seems to care nothing about how he's perceived is a very bad idea. Kluwe isn't with a team, he has little to lose. It could get ugly if he implicates any current Vikings, true or not, in some kind of scandal that has to be investigated. 

The state does have the Northern Tier Boundary Waters wilderness area.

Kluwe apologizes for Sandusky joke which the Viqueens leaked and blasts Dungy.  I think Kluwe will keep this going for awhile.  

Sure hope it isn't a distraction for the Viqueens training camp.

Yeah, especially when they hired a third party firm to conduct an investigation, then refure to release it except the blurbs against Kluwe. Then give Pfried a three-game suspension and having to take sensitivity training.
