Hell of a volleyball match on ESPNU.  Wisconsin won the 1st 2 sets, Penn State came back and won sets 3 &4.   However Lady Badgers win the 5th 15- 8 .  And on to the Regional Final vs. Pitt  Sat. at Madison.

I wish my stream was good. Prostate cancer has kind of ruined that for me. I hope to be around for awhile, no guarantees.

Had surgery about 6 yrs ago and it turned back the clock to 30 yrs ago.

Mayfield doesn’t know the playbook because he’s only been on the team for two days, yet the Rams start the second half with all passes and zero runs.  Is MM calling the plays tonight???

He studied the playbook on the plane to LA.

Carr is a tease. He does some things really well, and then he does others badly. He's a guy who will be rolling along, rolling along for a game or two or three, and then all of a sudden he stabs his own team in the back. Sometimes it will even be in the same game. That INT at the end was just an awful choice.

In my case surgical removal is not an option because the cancer was "too far advanced." Luckily it has not spread elsewhere. Getting ready now to start the process, hormone therapy then six weeks later radiation treatments five days a week for 9 straight weeks. Not looking forward to it.

Reminder to all you older guys 1: make sure to get a yearly physical AND 2: Have your Dr do a PSA blood test that can detect prostate cancer.

QB A has a career record as a starter of 69-61-2 with 241 TD and 100 interceptions (ratio of 2.41). #3 cap hit for a QB in the NFL in 2022.

QB B has a career record of 62-78 with 213 TDs and 95 interceptions (2.24 ratio). #9 Cap hit for a QB in the NFL.

QB C has a career record of 78-63-1 with 210 TDs and 106 interceptions (1.98). #1 cap hit for a QB in the NFL.

A is Kirk Cousins. B is Derek Carr. C is Ryan Tannehill.

They are all basically the same type and they are all good enough to win with the right supportive cast. The problem is the fact that they all cap hits similar to what guys like Mahomes, Allen, Rodgers, etc. have.

That's the biggest issue a lot of teams have. You have to have a decent QB to be a contender, but you have to overpay the B+ level guys like they are Mahomes to get or keep them.

Hang in there!
I had my right kidney removed due to cancer about 13 yrs ago and then Melanoma surgery on my back a yr later.
My prostate was just enlarged so they go in through the penis with a camera/laser and blast out tissue from the inside to shrink it.
Thank god for propofol ! ! !
Another blood draw and a visit to the oncologist in a couple weeks.

I’m just on the edge of all that….hope it doesn’t progress.  The doc thinks that I am going in the right direction.

Good luck to all…..by the way the PSA can mean everything and it can mean nothing.  It is an indicator. I get tested twice a year, have biopsies and MRI’s.

BTW, biopsies are no fun.

Man, I flipped over to this game during halftime of the Iowa - Iowa State game. Looked like a big turd so I called it a night after the bball game was over. Then like an hour later my brother texts me about Baker being the hero. I'm like WTF?!?!
