Looks like the Bucs already cancelled using throwbacks due to this decision. Any ideas if the Packers intend on wearing them?
Not sure how this would look without the brown helmet.

I thought they used the same helmets they normally use with the throwbacks, just painted for purpose.

If a throwback helmet is the same model and fitted the same way, what's the difference?
Probably several hundred thousand dollars.
And what happens if a helmet gets damaged from a hit?
it would be quite easy to get to the bottom of this if it were reality based.
take all the games that have been played with throwback helmets to date and see if there is a higher concussion rate.
my guess: they wouldn't find one.
