Alarm clock numbers? Really?
is this what it's come too? first seattle and now this... abomination?
whatever happened to tradition and class? it's all window dressing and marketing now. puke on some paper and hand it to a marketing exec and call it fashion.
great...
Alarm clock numbers? Really?
So 1980s. It's like watching Kraftwerk video.
So 1980s. It's like watching a Betamax video.
It looks like the Heinz 57 logo vomited all over a UPS uniform and then someone decided to add freaking alarm clock numbers and a helmet logo that reminds me of the oversized buttons used on land line phones.
Everything about it is 100% horrible.

Bring back the Ugachaka Baby!
Sad to say that the XFL unis were actually better than that seizure inducing crap.
XFL ugly.
Good Stuff!!!!!
Maybe the large logo & numbers will help the aging referees with their sight issues?
Nah, Boris, they'll just hit "snooze" and miss calls like always.
Just when you thought the Bucs would never again have a uniform as bad as the creamsicle Bucco Bruce.
It seems that teams try to outdo each other by competing to make the ugliest uniform. Every new one that comes out is worse than the one that came before it.
This is the gold standard for butt ugly uniforms and the rest are just chasing their tails.

I don't mind the shoes.
didn't notice the shoes with all the other ugly going on before. what's with the bunny ears on the tongue?
OH MY GOD!!! What the hell is goin' on out here???!!! (sound familiar?)
We managed to mess up the ONE thing that wasn't bad about the Buccaneers... the uniforms. I don't know what moron at Nike designed this or what moron at the Buccaneers organization okayed this, but this is , , and . They have not done a darn thing right since 2002. It's embarrassing...
People will be adjusting their TV sets wondering what the hell happened? Why do they mess with the ONE thing the Bucs had going for them????
here's another tidbit of hilarity:
"Today marks the culmination of more than two years of research and planning to bring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into a new and exciting era of our history," co-chairman Edward Glazer said. "We worked closely with our partners at Nike to design a uniform that would set the standard for both design and functionality.
"The result is a sleek, modern design that honors our championship past while also establishing a new, bolder identity moving forward."
TWO FREAKING YEARS to create that mess

The NFL doesn't care about veteran fans, its a league of replacement and the youth are the ones they are after with these Attention-Deficit Disorder designs
Young people are the future of the league because they don't remember how football used to be played.
They just want fantasy updates, social media access, and shiny new uniforms
Looks like the guy who did the U of Maryland unis had a hand in Tampa Bay's design committee. Looks like they ran out of cloth in some areas and stitched in some puke yellow/gold. Or maybe it was an effort to get gold into the uniform so they can win a SB. U-G-L-Y.
Guess if your teams plays ugly you should dress accordingly

And just imagine both the Nike designers and the folks in the Bucs front office that had a hand in it having meetings and unveiling proposed designs, and everybody nodding and murmuring their approval.
IOW, somebody saw this design initially and said, "Oh, hell yes!"
Wanted to add in a separate post that these teams have it all wrong, IMHO. They indeed should always look to the past, and find ways to modernize or update those designs, in the same vein as the retro Charger/Challenger/Camaro/Mustang.
Granted the Bucs don't have a history like the Packers and other older teams, but some of the proposed Packers uniform changes that have been discussed here were awesome! Simple, straightforward, and great color combos.
A few years back MLB went with stupid uniform colors and designs and now have come back to their senses with more traditional looks.
OMG Shoeless....I completely forgot about that era of White Sox history. Egad!
Did any other teams have their players wear shorts on Sundays?
How about a team that has historically come up short on Sundays?
That vomitous mass of spackled colors on those things = the opportunity for about 85 different 'alternative' jerseys to sell. Kids and rubes - the revenue-generating gift that keeps on giving.
they were saying on the radio that the digital numbers are supposed to be like the edge of a sword. Geez Maneez Mama! Didn't they just change the uniforms a few years ago.
I did hear something interesting when they were discussing this today tho. Apparently every team has to claim one color as their main color. For the bucs, the color they chose is pewter. They can go any shade of pewter they want but any other color has to be the same exact match to the color than any other team uses. For example, the Bucs red must match the red in every other teams uniform as long as that teams red is not the base color.
I would assume the Packers base color would be Green so they can shade it any way they want it as opposed to having the same green as say the Jets, EAgles, etc.
The league mandates this to save money on printing and league uniformity.
They were also talking about the Bucs throwback uniforms and the reason they did not do it last year was because the league won't allow them to use a different helmet than the one they use every game. Does anyone remember the Packers throwback game last year. Did they use their regular helmets or did they have a throwback helmet? I thought it was the throwback one.
I don't believe that entire color thing for a minute.

The league mandated that all teams wear their regular helmets for player safety.
Outraged?
I wonder what happens to the quarterback's jersey number after he gets sacked.
Crabtree has already asked to change his number to 80085.
