back on subject, I said it when they first floated the idea and I still believe the same - dumb, dumb, dumber, and yet even dumber. that's a private place with private conversations. I can't believe the NFLPA hasn't protested based on employee privacy concerns (well it is the NFLPA so I'm not really surprised). as a fan I just want to watch the game. the lockerroom is for players, not fans.
Its a dumb idea, but it shows you just how far the NFL will go in their quest NOT to lower prices

The goal is to get more people to go to the stadium and the one thing the fans have said over and over and over is to lower the ticket/parking/beer/food/merchandise prices

Then some marketing whiz comes along and says, we can't lower prices, so let's get them more VALUE by adding a bunch of crapola that we can trumpet in the press

The fans are not going to go to a game because they can see a 1 minute sanitized video of players standing around a locker room. They get that for free at the end of every game. duh

Lower the ****ing prices dumdums
I wonder if this stems from the BountyGate incident where that documentary filmmaker caught Greg Williams "Kill the Head" speech on camera (or just audio?). There have been other incidents where lockerroom talk has been made public and controversy has been created...former UT coach Derek Dooley getting over excited about beating Vanderbilt came to mind immediately. I think they want to catch more of these incidents and create more discussion, but the problem is that they won't be candid anymore. Most of the players and coaches will act different because they know they are being filmed. I don't see what is appealing about that.

On the flip side, Charles Woodson's lockerroom speech during the 2010 playoffs was a good glimpse into the lockerroom.
