Thanks vike...

Put Bollinger in green & gold - Favre in purple - and I wonder how that game goes...

Take away MN's best player IMO (Winfield) and it was kind of a perfect storm of GB good and MN bad IMO. You guys have some good talent just 86 Childress and among Winfield, Rice, AP, the front-7, etc. you guys will be in the thick of it next year.

Best of luck and I hope AP is fine; he's one of the few guys I'll turn on other games just to watch.
Rumors flowing in Minnesota that Childress might not last through the Raiders game with another poor performance. We can only hope!!!

I liken this game to the game the Patriots crushed the Vikes in last year. Last year we realized we couldn't stop the pass......This year the Packers showed Chilli he has no clue in any aspect of coaching.

Someone posted above that put Bollinger in Green and Favre in Purple....The results would be no different. McCarthy would put Bollinger in a situation to use what he had to make the team go. Childress would have had Favre throwing 4 yard check downs on 4th and 7.

Not even close. Winfield is a good CB.

AD is already a great RB and the Williams brothers are superb.

Thanks for letting me know you disagree w/ my opinion... I'll keep your thorough scouting of each MN player in mind next time I state my opinion on the matter. Wink

Bollinger couldn't win poop...whether Childress or Lombardi walked the sidelines. Is Childress terrible? Sure, but Bollinger isn't an NFL-quality backup IMO. The proposition that the outcome would've been 34-0 GB w/ Bollinger at QB...and Favre there for MN...is so unrealistic I can't even begin to argue it.

Congratulations on an awesome season Packer fans. At the beginning of the season, I thought you were winning games ugly or by flukey plays at the end...

But, I stand corrected. You have a SOLID defense and have won despite no running game for most of the season. Good luck for the rest of the season and I hope we get a chance to play you guys in the playoffs for old times sake...

I'm sure the Packers would be favored by 4-7 points but it would be a good defensive struggle. Awesome season, guys, awesome season by your team. Now, beat Carolina...and help us a little... Wink

If AP is back healthy, you'll have a reason to watch every single week. Even though Barry Sanders was on the Lions, I watched their games every chance I got just to see that guy play. I think AP has the same kind of talent. All your team needs is a QB and you'll be very very competitive. (Yes, even with Childress.)

I am really warming to the idea now tho

Unless they mop up on the raiders I don't see childress making to the end of the year

He'll make the end of the year, but I don't see him making it after that if they score zero again
Thanks Vikes... I sat next to a viking fan who also flew in from Phoenix. After awhile all he could do was laugh it off. His friend was a Pack fan so I think they handled the ribbing amongst themselves.

One drunk in the parking lot was heckling a viking couple a bit on the way out, but I really didn't see any nasty confrontations.

Better luck next time..... NOT! Big Grin

A playoff game is certainly a possibility. I think you guys are in a good position to take control on the NFC South; you should win the division actually, as NO is too inconsistent to mount a challenge.

There is speculation that if the Vikes do not play well this week vs Da Raida's that Chilli might be shown the door after the game....If you ask me, Wilf has no choice but to fire him. The fans are already starting to not go to the games....and with the way things are as far as the stadium issues go.....Wilf can't have many empty seats in order to keep his head above water.

Im with you though...Ive seen enough already....get rid of the bum!
