I'm assuming you are referring to winning seasons as a GM?

I am too lazy to look it up...but what are the other Packer GM's record on winning seasons? How does TT line up?

Maybe the biggest thing about being 9-4 is that this is the first Packer team of this millenium to achieve a winning record without TOG as the QB. It only took 2 seasons to get it.

As much as many people thought the Pack might go back to the ways of the '70s and '80s without #4, there are some signs that maybe just maybe we can do pretty well without him. #4 was a great player and I respect what he did for us, but he was not the entire team either. It took a number of good football players for the Pack to get to double digit wins for 9 of the past 18 years.

There is a real good shot the Pack will get to its 10th double digit win season in 19 years. Just one more win and they've done it.
5 years in an now 0.500 after coming in with a rudderless, decimated program and some are not happy. (shakes his head) Is he perfect, no. Should you expect perfection, no. Did he have experience as a GM coming into GB, no. He's growing into his job. If you can't see the progression then I guess you'll never get it. I believe I can see further potential and good times ahead. Can you?
Seems difficult to present Thompson as anything but an excellent GM at this point. I am not as knowledgeable as many here, so correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Thompson responsible for: Rodgers, Grant, Jennings, Finley, Jordy, James Jones, Woodson, Matthews, Tramon, Raji, Hawk, Pickett, Chillar, Bigby and Collins? I know some are free agents and perhaps Sherman brought in one or two of those but it is quite an impressive nucleus of players he's assembled, as well as an amazing group of young players to build on for years to come.
Yep, congratulations to Ted and Mike for pulling this season out of their ass. Really good turn around.. no one expected it after that embarrasing start to the season.

That being said, they wont fire Ted and Mike after this season. They should, I dont think anyone here is confident that MM can out scheme anyone in the playoffs. Ted Thompson has had 5 years, and at 2 games over .500.. that just doesnt cut it for Green Bay. For the Milwaukee Bucks and how their decade went.. ok, but for Green Bay... No.

Packers may very well run the table and go to 12-4 (depending which Steeler/Cardinal team shows up).

To still advocate the team to can these 2 after putting together at minimum 5 straight wins and guaranteeing a winning season is priceless, even for you.

Yes. 2 winning. 2 losing (he inherited a mess from Sherman). 1 .500 season.

Bedwetters not happy today...

I am happy with 9-4

Still doesn't mean I think he is an excellent GM

All because of bert.

I didn't bring it up here and haven't all year. It is over. He is now the QB for our #1 enemy. ARod has taken a huge step forward. I suggest you let it go also.

The reasons have been beaten to death earlier in the year on Thompson...not going to keep rehashing them. It is just nice to see winning football this year again and a QB who looks to be a 10 year franchise QB and we got 2 of them back to back.
Why should TT be fired? Because he let go of an aging, flip flopping quarterback who won the Superbowl 15 years ago?

People just won't give it up. Favre hasn't won squat in the past decade and a half. Big Ben has 2 superbowl rings. Favre has 1. Favre is a fart in the wind.

I'm sure digger whacks off to his Favre posters every night out in his garage after a couple of old milwaukees and a few GPC cigarrettes. He probably dreams of Favre spooning him every night.

LMAO!

LMAO

Funny that your "hero" was the guy that lead them to a 4-12 season which really impacts that overall record by TT
